Fury not applying for new Boxing License
Anything out there as to the reason for this?
Has he become such a huge fat tub that he cba?
Enjoying life to the fullest that the rigmarole of getting all the lard off, getting fit, getting his boxing brain back into gear and then the endless fight promotion seems such a chore?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/41503496
Or he is going to fight abroad?

Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
Strange. His impressive physique suggests a man of iron ready to face any challenge.

Said he was going to fight Shannon the cannon in Russia or something

Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
I heard Fury is working hard to slim down so he can play Eric Esch in the film BUTTERBEAN.
-
Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
I am losing slowly losing faith in Fury. He is so 'out of condition' that it will take years for him to get back to fighting fitness again. I do not think he has the desire, or mental strength to get back to what he was.
Fury has thrown away his career all because he could not handle his mental condition.

Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
IBF, WBO, WBA, Ring, lineal, globally recognised heavyweight champion of the World
British Champion
Commonwealth Champion
European Champion
English Champion
Irish Champion
All inside 25 fights and before hitting 30. Yep........Someone has really got it in for Tyson Fury.
-
Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
If he wants to get licensed then why doesn’t he just go abroad? Chisora and Haye did when they were refused here. Fury isn’t even training by the looks of it so I doubt he really wants to make a comeback. He just likes to talk and he’s a bit of an attention seeker.

Slowly Losing Faith! fucking hell , are you sure you're not Ross? If you seriously believe he's still capable of doing something significant at the top end of the HW division you need to get a grip on reality.
if this doesn't flush @ross out of the woodwork, nothing will.

Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
Now, grammar aside, this either means it's all sorted, or he's pushed any date that it might get sorted further away from himself.

Ross and I were the only ones that believed in Fury. I am slowly becoming a non-believer.

Dafuq you on about, I backed Fury all through his career lol, I love the way that Fury fans think there is an exclusive membership only fan club and if you ain't in it then you hate Fury.
It doesn't change the fact that he lost the plot got fat and turned himself into an absolute joke

Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
Fury was an enigma, absolute crazy system and absolutely crazy participants. You cannot disrespect his achievement, but FFS what for? He deserves respect for his achievement, but does nothing to justify it, cant work it out.... Its a shame that he is being ignored by the usual media wankers, because he of all people deserves a few meals and beers out of that load of wasters!!!!!!!

Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
I don’t really need to see him get wiped out by Wilder or Joshua because I know that’s what would happen and I think deep down he knows it too. Fury is an over achiever who was landed an uppercut on himself... the only time I’ve ever seen a fighter do that (guess he was proving he had a chin)
-
Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
I have said many times fury is a clown , he will be judged in a boxing ring.
When he fights again I may take a look , otherwise shut the fuck up idiot.

Fury was the only man that could beat Joshua, he had the unorthodox style to give AJ "fits" but that has long. No way can the "fat one" get back in condition and form that he did when he won the title.

What a load of twaddle. the only significant win he ever had was against Wlad. Fair play, I don't want to take that away from him.
if I did, maybe I would say Wlad was in the middle of a nervous breakdown and in no fit state to fight. Same as Fury wasn't when he subsequently got done for coke.
AJ is a very different animal. are you saying he wouldn't walk Fury down and connect? @ross , what do you think?

No, Fury schools AJ with both hands behind his back. :)

Come on mate, he's got (or had)decent movement for a big guy, but he's hardly Herrol fucking Graham is he?

I think Fury would have caused problems for AJ as well but at the same time AJ would only have to hit him once, Fury was dropped by a cruiserweight in the past so if AJ lands it would have been game over.

Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
Twice I've seen Fury in some bother and both times he fought harder to get out of it. I'd expect the same if AJ connected with a decent punch

Wilder is a piss poor heavyweight champion.

Twice, but with anybody of AJ's power or fitness?
I'm guessing you're talking about :
Cunningham - Fury just leaned all over the CW and Cunningham tired of holding up a guy 5 stone heavier than him.
McDermott - can we really compare him to what Joshua would bring?

Wilder is a piss poor heavyweight champion.
He’s an unbeaten heavyweight champion with five defences under his belt (all won by knockout)

In this day and age that means very little. Wilder has not looked great.

Take Klitschko off of AJ and Fury’s records and what’s left? Wilder has been in with and beaten better (Wlad aside)

Wilder would not have beaten Wlad. Not the version that fought AJ.

Wilder would not have beaten Wlad. Not the version that fought AJ.
We’ll never know, that’s just speculation. I don’t think the AJ that beat Wlad could have beaten Wilder because unlike Wlad, Wilder will go for the finish when he has his man hurt.
-
Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
Wilder would not be in a position to hurt AJ as Wlad did.
Wlad disgusied that punch beautifully. Wilder does not have the skill to do it.
Wilder has power but AJ would see his punches all day long.
-
Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
Wilder is the most athletic heavyweight in boxing right now and he throws punches from unusual angles which makes him dangerous. Wlad is very text book in his approach and he’s just a big man who’s mastered the basics. AJ wouldn’t make it out of the third with Wilder.

I bet you when AJ fights Wilder that Joshua wins. Guaranteed.
AJ is too skilled to lose to someone as raw and unpolished as Wilder.

He got rocked by a sloppy un-athletic bum like Whyte  if Wilder landed like that (which he would) AJ would be out with no count needed.

Wilder has been rocked by worse fighters than Whyte and Wlad.

Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
It’s absurd to say a Wilder fight with AJ would go to either surely. Both have devastating power that could win the fight at any moment.
If someone wants to say it’s most likely going to go to AJ that’s logical. But anyone that says surely either way is flaming or uneducated
-
Re: Fury not applying for new Boxing License
If AJ gets hit by those amateurish punches from Wilder then he deserves to lose his title and retire. AJ is far too skilled for Wilder who is an accident waiting to happen.

Wilder’s jab is underrated and he’s a better jabber than AJ in my opinion

The jab Lennox Lewis was teaching Wilder in the middle of the night in the street. That jabbing technique that he still has not perfected. AJ is technically far superior than Wilder.

He’s not really his punches are just tighter that’s all. You make out like AJ is some supreme boxer but he’s nothing special if you look past the physical advantages he has against most opponents. Wilder dominated behind the jab against both Stiverene and Arreola

AJ is a Olympic good medalist which shows you his boxing skills are excellent. AJ has dispatched his opponents with ease whilst Wilder has struggled with his title defences.
