If you could cross-breed any two boxers from the same weight......

If you could make a cross of two fighters that have fought in the same weight division who would it be? The boxer can be from any time in boxing history but have to be from the same weight class.
For Example
George Forman and Muhammed Ali. or Sugar Ray Leonard and Sugar Ray Robinson.

Or
Tommy Hearns and Marvin Hagler
Tyson and Lewis
Wlad and Chuvalo

A Tyson-Foreman hybrid would be the most devistating fighter EVER

i think i'd go for vitali klitschko/mike tyson hybrid. boxing brains and pure rage rolled into one. ouch

Roy Jones jr and Hagler(Great chin and power mixed with speed and pure boxing skill makes a devestating combo)

i think Ali and Tyson would be devastating. All the agility, chin and heart of Ali combined with the power, handspeed and headmovement of Tyson.

yea tehy all seem much better since ur incorporating mantality i was going by just ring style ....i stil disagree w/ tyson lewis ...a left hook from a tall man and a left hook from an inside fighter is different ..and u cant fight on the inside when ur 6'5 lol the leverage & angles too different for squatty bodys and outsie boxers...but i feel u lol i'm not pickin on u bro ;D

James Toney and the Stay-Puft marshmallow man from Ghostbusters - would have all Toney's skill, knowledge and durability, allied with the stability in weight that Stay-Puft would bring.

Plus, Toney has always said that if he was white he'd have got much more credit from the establishment for his achievements !!

KILLER Left Hooks from tall guys: Wlad Klitschko, George Foreman, Tommy Morrison, Vitali Klitschko (wasn't pretty but that short one he planted on DW's chin put his ass down).

Tall guys can throw left hooks too!!! ESPECIALLY when on the inside where the other guy thinks he's safe.

I dig this thread. Very Doctor Moreau, darlings. Are we assuming that the best qualities of each fighter would result from these unholy couplings or that they would sort of meet each other half way?

If it's the former, how about putting Duran and Floyd into the 135 pound petri-dish? Impregnable defense, dazzling speed, untameable offence, perfect balance, rage, self-belief... it goes on.

And Hamed blended with Willie Pep would have made for a virtually unhittable featherweight with concussive power. Pep could come back from adversity too.
