I fully believe that women around the world through history have been mistreated and still suffer from a lack of equal opportunity.
However, I am getting sick of the militancy being displayed ..... the unseemly rush to wear some sort of flower or item of clothing 'in support' (how the fuck does that actually support, or do, anything?), the poor diddums at the BBC who is 'only paid £250,000 a year, the endless BBC propaganda reporting of women 'fighting' for their rights and - most importantly - the social media mob who try people without any evidence, shout down any different views and assume that one is evil, thick or misguided if you dare to disagree with the mob view.
Every newspaper article is about this, every talk show (which are invariably female dominated), or at least it feels like every one.
I am not a sexist, never have been. Always treated women equally, had many female bosses and subordinates. Don't care what sex someone is to do a job. I am getting totally sick of this stuff being rammed down my throat, as if I am somehow part of the problem.
The world is not binary. Not all men are complicit sexual predators, not all men are busy subjugating women.
How about focusing on how women are treated in mainstream Islam and in India. How about working to free child brides and kids who are genitally mutilated? How about standing up for them?

Yeh very similar, almost a cultish type following though not sure pool is as big as it was in 80's. They've certainly tried to sexy up women billiards with more than a few knowing the appeal. Went searching for dart and pool players and even ran across bikini billiards???. Also here in the States we once had a great thing called Lawn darts growing up ;D. X is right the world is certainly not binary and all men are not predators but it is, or has been until very recently a man's world. It's 2018 now though and things will inevitably change. I don't think that the plight of abused women in Islam and India etc has anything to do with western women fighting for a more equal footing. It is just another way of saying that I don't want things to change in the west. Yes there is a lot of nonsense espoused in the name of wanting to be seen doing the right thing but it is not an excuse to dismiss the disrespect that is often very prevalent. Not equivalency,equal respect.
I am a straight hypocritical bloke like some most of the posters here, and I don't have a problem with it. It doesn't really do a lot for me and to be honest there are many female photographers who take way more photos of ring girls than i do as they know they will sell. I have shot pro and amateur models of both sexes, but it makes up a tiny percentage of what I do and I do find the obsession with female models incredibly boring as a subject when there is no story to be told. There are some pretty badly behaved cuntish blokes at times who will talk about, and to ring card girls like shit, so it is not a job for the feint hearted, but the women themselves should be respected enough to let them decide for themselves what they want to do.
That said I draw the line at gluten free shampoo. I mean seriously wtf?
