This fight deserves a thread.
Both guys can make an argument for being P4P top 10.
For me this is a true 50/50 fight between 2 excellent fighters!

Is the fight going to be shown on British TV?
Not sure about UK TV.

Trying to get up for it and Wangek v Estrada should unfold nicely. For me Wangek falls into that blurry unclear category when talking p4p, just beating a member doesn't always translate to taking a spot. In division sure, but not sport.
Estrada (4/5-FAV) looked terrific last time against Cuadras, however, like Choco he has moved up to this weight whereas Wang (5/4) has basically always been it, which I think is a big advantage for Wang, his strength at this weight really is his strength.
This is like Pac-Marquez. Relentless power-pressure vs counterbox-punching skill? I remember after superfly 1 I wrote that Wang will blow through Estrada, i'm not sure why I was so confident on the night (don't really feel like that now) but i'll trust my instincts from that night.
38 of Wang's 40 stoppages have come in 6 rounds or less (the other two inside 9), 3 of his 4 losses came in his first 5 bouts, with the only other loss the unfortunate premature Cuadras injury.
If he does win what a find this man has been, and shows how ignorant/arrogant most western boxing fans are, as talent like this goes unoticed whilst they argue about their pampered "P4P" heroes "deserving," "ducking," "a-side, "b-side," "money, money, money!!!"
Wang KO/TKO (no prices for a stoppage yet).
Your right about Estrada moving up to this weight and being the naturally smaller man, Estrada had that bout of inactivity following injury and looked rusty on the comeback. The Cuadras fight seemed to shake most of that off tho. I just think Estrada will be too polished and will pick Wangek apart. Estrada can bang or box. He has great punch selection, using that Mexican left to the body to open up targets up top.
If Wangek blows through Estrada, there's no way anyone could deny him from the top 10 P4P.
I'm sticking with Estrada on points.
It's so awesome that they're already talking SuperFly 3 for alter this year. Kal Yafai and Daigo Higa are both going to be ringside, both would be great additions to match against the winners of some of this weekends fights.
I hope Yafai all the best but these are tough fights with these champs.
Holy f-ck, Viloria is shot to sh-t. Lost every round.
Good evening chaps. No boxing on British telly tonight so I'm watching on a bloody stream. Go Michael Buffer.
Nietes using a nice jab and solid defense, 1-0.
Nietes boxing well, using nice counters. 2-0.
3-0 Nietes.
Never watched HBO boxing with adverts, seriously thrown me
Crowd are booing? Err.. what?
Nietes landing constant crisps punches..crowd boos???. Haven't seen that much from a Forum crowd.
and should have bet on Viloria upset;D
Idiot casual fans booing, this is an excellent fighter at work. 5-0 Nietes.
Top notch speed and nice triple hook that round. Reveco looks like he is swinging underwater..out on his feet end of
Nietes hurt Reveco just before the bell.
man he's stumbling forward start of round 7 :-X. Time to close shop.
I bet the Vilora "upset"
Nietes badly staggers him with a righthand bang on the bell. Lucky
Watch Nietes finish this off.
Reveco's corner puts an end to it.
I want to watch the Andre the Giant documentary.
+1 cc Tecate girl. Where do they grow those. A delay for paramedics eh? Might want to bring a few in a venue like this.
Becoming clear how many shots Cuadras has taken over the last few fights. Legs locking up in 1st and rocked!
Nice 2nd Arroyo control early but Cuadras stuns him late!
Nice fight so far. Cuadras starting to find a home for his right in the 3rd. 2-1 Cuadras.
The 3rd and 4th were extremely close. 2-2.
Definitely should let him wear a t shirt ffs. Arroya back on it in 4th have 2-2. With this pace should be a 12 rounder.
How can someone not like a fighter like Cuadras? Wars with Gonzalez, Estrada and now Arroyo.
Cuadras blowing around in the wind a bit. Free swinging but gets left in bad lurches 3-2 Arroyo.
Another close round. Gave it to Arroyo. 3-2 Arroyo.
Just like the control and accuracy by Arroyo. One things for sure P.R v Mexico in L.A.....goes to judges you better hide under a table ;D. 4-2 Arroyo
I've given Arroyo the 6th and 7th. 5-2 Arroyo.
5-2 Arroyo. Tough scrap
The 8th was also close. Gave it to Cuadras. Could easily be a 10-10 round. 5-3 Arroyo.
Arroyo might need 2 kds and a ko to get this on the cards. But cannot see Cuadras ahead in this in any fashion. 6-3 Arroyo.
Arroyo takes the 9th. 6-3 Arroyo.
He just gets hit too much and doesn't wear it well. Arroyo owning 10th..Lamps says it's even :-X
substance over style maybe. 97-93 Arroyo
