What do you guys think? I'd say most of us feels he is waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy past his prime..and pretty much through...but how many think he will fight agaiin and possible put himself in the top 5 heavyweight category?
lets not count him out...face it.. he still has a left and right that will floor anyone of us...give the oppurtunity
We've given the oppurtunity. Then we've given again. And again. And YET again and he has shown that he just doesn't have the will to compete anymore. He's never fighting again.Quote:

I don't know guys,reading his recent interviews etc he SERIOUSLY sounds as if he never wants to come back ever again which I think is a good thing. He was amazing at his prime,a legend but that was a loooong time ago and he will never be able to get back to that level.

Mike Tyson is never going to fight again.
We all know he shouldnt fight again, but how many of us would watch him on TV if his fight was televised on free to view?
He still makes big bucks when he fights, so that option is still open to him. Of course he doesnt want to get beaten up, so let's hope financial pressures don't force him back into the ring.
he's one of my all time favourite fighters so i would love to see him fighting again with even a glimer of the young mike. but it aint gonna happen and i would hate to see him lose or embarrass himself again.
i wish he also doesnt comeback aswell. tyson never loses sleep about boxing, since people have been calling him a rapist. he doesnt give a shit about boxing.
he seems to have quit before suffering from any boxing related brain damage, which most HW fighters who fight for too long dont seem to do, i think he understands that, and is going to stay away from fighting...
i would love him to be an analyst...
or an interviewer...

i bin following mikes career 4rm way b4 he won his 1st title....iv followed it all the way 2the last time he fought....looking at 2days heavy weight devision,i really think mike has 70% chance 2become only the 3rd fighter behind the greatest n the real deal 2become 3times champ...history beckons mike Tyson...but mike must commite 200% training properly 4every fight he should follow the foreman comeback trail, at least 1fight at least every 2months after 6/7 fights go 4the big1..and whatever happens retire with pride...he owes it 2his family,friends,fans and above all to Michael Gerrard Tyson

The Tyson your talking about hasn't fought since Douglas in Tokyo all those years ago. When people saw he was beatable the aura around him evaporated.
Tyson has been a busted Flush ever since Tokyo, flattering to deceive at every opportunity. Every top quality fighter he has faced since then he has been found lacking, Lewis, Holyfield (twice).
Tyson was great but that was near 20 years ago! Hopefully he won't fight again.
there have been loads of glimers of the old tyson in his fights since douglass. watch the julius francis fight. he was so aggressive and relentless, and in the second holyfield fight. think it was the second round when he had some success. but good point, he was never the same since he split with rooney.
i hope to god that he doesnt. Although i wouldnt put it past him.
