Really would be great to see Jacobs/Charlo to answer a lot of questions in the division. If Canelo/GGG must happen

Imo Jacobs/Charlo is way more meaningful and relevant than Canelo/GGG.

Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
I'm at a bit of a loss with Jacobs at the minute, he signed with Matchroom which was a risk considering they are based in the UK, are they just poorly matching him or is he still being avoided?
I saw something saying that Eddie wants to sign the Charlo twins but I think they are self promoting at the minute and are making waves without a promoter.
If Matchroom did manage to cop hold of them then it would be pretty good fucking news for them though.

Think Matchroom are building a base in USA and Jacobs is a big enough name to start that process.

Charlo's are starting their own thing Lion's Only. Which I assume comes from the last 2 letters of their name. They aren't going to give their money away(it's up to club gals to steal it haha)

I agree completely. Seems Charlo has improved greatly the last couple years. He needs real opposition to know if it's talent or matchmaking. And we already know Jacobs is one of if not the best MW.

Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Geez, Miller keeps getting bigger. 304 pounds :-\
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Can I just say that I'm expecting Sulecki to be tougher than many are expecting.

This is where I love to see an upset.

I nearly picked him for the upset but don't think he has the pop to stop Jacobs from bullying him

Really!?!??!?!?.... bollocks, he had lost a few pounds for his last fight, now he's gained about twenty. .. I am reconsidering my claim of big baby miller for heavyweight king in 2019... that's weak, duhaupass is fairly handy, this is going to be a horrible fight to watch I think, good job miller get on hbo and come in huge :S

He does have some decent names on his record, but I agree not the punch to get Jacobs' respect.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Jacobs is also 7 foot 2 and 500 pounds. ... well in middleweight terms anyway.

Could be just BS and he's lazy but he said he didn't feel good with the weight loss and he wanted to come in heavier like previous fights because he felt better

It is BS. No way you feel better being that overweight. It’s an excuse. That’s my main problem with the HW division. You have fat and out of shape fighters who rise through the rankings. That’s why the HWs who are actually in shape are at the top of the division despite not being that good.
Big baby has the potential to be so much better than he is but is too lazy.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Fat Baby's trainer said he's given up trying to get him to lose weight. He's not an explosive puncher but the French fella is gonna get knackered with weight smotherin him, hopefully he sees the distance line from my persepctive
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
The fattest man in Wakanda
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Big Gravy Miller in at 300 is crazy. Somewhere even Bowe is shaking his head. All for cancer patients along for ring walks instead of a crappy rapper though.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Miller is a confusing fighter. He's basically all forward mass but everything is huge. Not a lot of power though. Starting to lay over and drop hands again.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Duhaupas with the triple jab and big uppercut flush.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
They've both landed plenty of uppercuts up close, Miller is going to get his head popped ;like a balloon against AJ, his head is a magnet for right hands
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Surprised it took HBO 36 minutes to make Tyson uppercut comparisons. Double Bs is winning but Duhaupas is revealing Miller has defensive holes and not much imagination.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Just tuning in... missed a lot of boxing. :(

Thinking the same now. He looks like a guy whos already peaked.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
I guess I missed the better fights. :-\

Great stuff earlier. ESPN2 with replay tonight

Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
"Big Baby" is a disgusting nickname for a boxer, although I can see why. Either Joshua or Wilder destroy this guy.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Max Kellerman is tripping. 'Miller can help expose Joshua to American fight public' :spit:
I know casuals in Maryland who have watched AJs last five fights ffs.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
In a battle of fatties, Ortiz beats Miller to a jiggling pulp.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
OK so this is different, Jacobs entrance ;)
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
I'm seeing early 90's inspirational rap videos all over again ;D. Now that's a ring walk. Jacobs better hope he doesn't bust a hand on the top of Suleckis head here.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Jacobs is getting tagged with some quick short right hands. Jacobs looks a bit perplexed.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Welcome change after the blubberfest we just saw.
Sulecki won the 1st round..... the 2nd much closer. Good scrap so far.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Was just about to say Jacobs hadn't landed anything flush yet, and at the end of the round caught Sulecki with a big right hand. Could be a turning point.....
Jacobs as a lefty is useless.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Yes, this is a good fight. I missed most of the previous fight, but I happen to quite like the nickname Big Baby. It is very cute.
-
Re: Jacobs v Sulecki / Miller v Duhaupas
Gutsy exchange there at the end. Sulecki must know by now that Jacobs has more firepower.
