You should see Hatton this far before a fight! ;)
hehe, I know - but it was not an attack on Winky. I am just used to watch him more skinny ;)Quote:

He actually looks a lot bigger build than Taylor which suprises me. I figured Taylor could be a supermiddleweight at close to 6 ft whereas Wright is more of a junior middleweight, but to be fair, he looks significantly the stockier build of the two from that shot.
No No, too many people has always tried to walk up in weight. No one of the mentioned would do any harm to Kessler or Calzaghe.Quote:

Winky or Taylor would hurt them selfes very much if they tried to talk with Kessler
Kessler looks like a beast with all those tattoo's
One picture doesnt mean anything. But Winky actually looks strong. Remember how surprised everyone was when he was bigger and stronger than Trinidad when they were in the ring together.
We cant read too much into what their bodys look like at this stage . What I find more revealing is how old Winky looks . He has had alot of fights and this may be where it cathces up with him .
Not sure of the outcome on this one . I might wait and see what Miles is saying ;D
Agreed. I'm still banking on Winky...but either winner is good for boxing. I like Taylor too...I just hope that he goes back to the original Jermain instead of the poon head that Lou turned him in to.Quote:

I must say, it is really nice to see 2 classy, respectful fighters acting like gentlemen toward each other as they hype this fight. Thats sadly so rare these days in boxing.
I think it's called a suit.
you cheeky devil, you!!! ;DQuote:

regardless, winky can beat jermaine taylor. i dont want the fight to go to the score cards because taylor seems to get a lot of luck on that front. but on my scorecard im sure winky wright will take the fight. whether the judges see the same fight as i do is a different matter of course....
taylor will open up more against winky but winky will take the punches with effective defence and counter with punches that actually land flush....
Miles I agreed 100% i think Winky should and will win UD. Nothing against Taylor only disagreed with judges for B-HOP Taylor fights for giving him SD in the first fight but again its boxing anything could happen.
havew yourself a :coolclick: silent killer, and welcome to the forum! ;)
taylor is strong, thats my only real concern in this bout, in all other respects i think winly is fine. his skill is way superior....go go winky!!! ;D
winky far too classy for jermain taylor.
I aint sure . Taylor up until the B-hop fight had never even lost a round . He beat the then p4p best fighter in the world . He is bigger and hits harder than Wright whos been beaten before . Taylor is undefeated so its a tough one
I reckon it will go to the cards and both side will claim victory . It just depends which judges we have
:coolclick: Well said.
Winky looks fine, he looked like shit before the Soliman fight cause of the flu, he shouldn't have a problem losing the weight
Winky's far more experienced and has more skill, Taylor's the biggest and strongest middle in the world, and he's probably a bit quicker. I think Winky will probably win it cause of his skill and he's the only middle who can probably outjab Taylor. I wouldn't be shocked if Taylor won, but I'm favoring Winky
I feel like Taylor has what it takes to win, but I'm not exactly sure how he can do it. On one hand Taylor needs to impose his size, but on the other hand he is much better on the outside. He will definately need a good gameplan because Wright seems to have a great style to hit Jermain.
I hope Winky wins.
If Taylor is going to win he is going to need to risk his reputation as a crowd attraction
My first big fight nosebleed section in Memphis baby! I hope Taylor wins by knockout 8th round. Hes been looking real good, fights is in his backyard and he very loose, a younger stud might out way even 50 fights(like hopkins), you must remember Taylor has a little experience being a Olympic metal winner all the way to b-hop.
I'm pulling for Wright. But, with the negotiation bullshat, and the way he's been acting, it don't seem like he's too excited for this fight. I hope I'm wrong. All I know is before the Tito fight, and the Mosely fights, Wright looked good and seemed determined. I just don't get that vibe from him this fight. Like I said, I hope I'm wrong, because I pick Wright to win.
Taylor and DiBella are like thiefs! They never won at first. Winky has been trying hard for a long time and finally got his recognition. Taylor is a fine athlete, but he's messing up his career.Quote:

I hope we get fair Judges if it goes to the score cards. I am going for wright.Quote:

I fancy Winky to win a decision in reality but for the judges to give it to Taylor.
AgreedQuote:

I know. If Taylor had been more spectacular from the beginning, then I would give him his credit. The problem I think is that Taylor barely and I mean "barely" got by Bernard Hopkins. So, now we will see how he does against someone that right now is as good as Hopkins or probably even better now, like Winky Wright. I think once he faces a real challenge, he gonna lose.Quote:

Oh of course BHop that ruled the division for a decade and was the the number one pfp was no real challenge.... I mean come on..Quote:

i know i will get some mechanics post saying Taylor just isn't advanced enough but what if the game has just evolved. like running quarterbacks or 6'7 point guards maybe Taylor has taken it to a new level and we just cant see it because its a head of us right now. for example his speed, and ability to knock the opposition down with a jab and not even be planted.
call me crazy if you will. I'm just a Jermaine Taylor fan
I don't think Taylor should be there either. I know he was given the fights. at least the first one he knew he lost he was crying on his trainer's shoulders when they announced him the winner. That was just a big gift wrapped with a big red Bow. and in the second he still did not beat B-hop. B-hop fought his fight just like he had been doing for the past 10 years.Quote:

Why would he fight Winky next? I honestly think it could be a big mistake!Quote:

The problem with Taylor right now...he's coming up against all of my favorite fighters...who have long been my favorites & also who I think have the skills & knowledge to defeat him.
IWO, he didn't do enough to beat Hopkins nor warrant wearing those straps...but once again...that's milk that's long been spilt.
Oh yeah...Winky by SD.
WINKY WRIGHT ALL THE WAY... HE'LL OUTPOINT HIM... TAYLOR WONT BE ABLE TO GET THROUGH THOSE GLOVES/FOREARMS
taylor wont be able to get through those gloves ;D ;D ;D
Im sure winky will block many but taylor is simply too large and long for winky to counter hell get pecked to death
I BEG TO DIFFER...WE'LL SEE. IF HOPKINS WAS COUNTERING HIM. WINKY WILL DESTROY HIM.Quote:
