Looks like no "brotherly love" between Trump and the city of Philadelphia. ;D
First he rescinds the invitation that had been extended to the Super Bowl champ Philadelphia Eagles supposedly over players' discontent with the NFL's new national anthem policy.
Now he's pissed at Philly's mayor for doing a celebratory dance about winning a court ruling on the "sanctuary city" battle.
On the Eagles invitation, it depends who you ask, but it seems most of the guys weren't going to be going to the White House anyway. Trump didn't like the idea of having less than half the team at the WH, so he took back the invitation. Funny stuff.
All I know is Philly isn't in good graces with the Prez right about now.

Also all of this over kneeling for the National Anthem to protest police violence against black people.....correct me if I'm wrong but police are LOCAL, they also provide security at games and protect the very players protesting against them.
I think NFL players are idiots and childish and if they really wanted to solve an issue like police violence against members of the black community they'd work with both the community and the police. I personally know folks who in high school and college proudly stood for the National Anthem with hand over heart and now because Colin Kaepernick they whine and want their favorite players to take a knee.
