Showtime: Santa Cruz v Mares II and Charlo v Trout / Crawford-Horn

No thread for this and it's a couple hrs away. Going with Leo to capitalize on his improvements and secure a win. Only hope the headbutts and/or low blows are not a factor. Part of me really wants Trout to shock the world and to finally get another big W off opportunity. Maybe Charlo comes in with the Charlo-chip weighing to heavy on his shoulder and overlooks him. Truth be told it's a step up for Charlo and on it's face seems a little surprising.


Crawford v Horn on espn+ also so if any info-links fell free to share as there's no thread for that as well.

Evening chaps. I've got Crawford versus Horn and would much rather be watching Mares versus Santa Cruz. If anybody has a working link could you pm me please. Cricfree doesn't work for me on the browsers I have.

Benavidez just blew the Venezuelan taxi driver he was fighting out in the first round. Left hook to the liver. The Venezuelan was not impressive. Right now Darleys Perez is in the ring with some eastern European.

I'm fine for a link, I've found a proper stream for it. :)

Perez down and stopped in round ten of ten. He was going to lose anyway. Not the most exciting fight I've ever seen.

I didn't even realise this (Crawford bill) was a Vegas shindig, not even one thread for it.

Is surprising how Crawford fight went pretty much unspoken but cannot bring myself to pay out more coin for another ESPN gimmick, considering they already have 3 channels here :p. And Arum initially wanted fill blown ppv instead of regular ESPN ;D. But seems College track & field has top billing.

Really is unfortunate. A talent like Crawford deserves full prime time exposure.

Yep that's the one. Thought it was next up after Lara but let's hope. Do like Charlo more now in that one. Hurd is a beast but looks like the guy who will collect punches way to much

Call me nuts..I have Trout up 2-0. Charlo doing a lot of observing so far. Trout stabbing the jabs.

Trout landed a decent left and it just bounced off Charlo.

I think it was the right call but it was close

Charlo stepped on the gas in 4th. Starting to move Trout around with anything solid and hate to say Trouts flinching a bit.

This crowd is utter shit with the booing, you pay for a ticket and stale beer but don't be a prick about it.

Pretty tight 6th, Trout throwing in combo and gets in solid right hook late. Stood in more. Charlo has established zero jab and really not putting great stuff together but ahead.

Gave Trout 7th. Frankly looked more composed and held own in exchanges and put them together.

Anyone else here a big trout fan I’ve always been a fan of his

Man life is not fair , big rally backs and catches Charlo on ropes and Charlo lands a brick that leaves him reeling in 10th! He looks like a guy on that stool who just realized he's seen this movie before.

Honestly never saw this going 12 but there it went.

Crown boos from 1st to 12th here (Prickish but big picture), Charlo matched his brother after so much talking about ko, Trout better jab and showed same ol guile. Charlos gets the cards but Trout gets the calls and cred.
