Most evil person in history
I can’t make it a vote as A I don’t know how and B there are too many choices
I always think of chairman Mao with the famine he created, culture and history which he attempted to destroy, a beautiful and fascinating Chinese history. I’ve read different estimates but many state he killed more than all the deaths in WW2. Just curious what others think if they care to mention

Re: Most evil person in history
Pol Pot, killing fields and year zero, makes him the most evil man in the 1970's.
-
Re: Most evil person in history
Current:
George Soros, the old multi-billionaire. Actually paid Georgia to invade Ossetia, thousands of civilians killed - how evil is that? Paid people to riot in the USA, at Ferguson and elsewhere. Much of the evil in the world today is financed by Soros.
All-time:
Karl Marx. At least 100 million innocents murdered in China, Cambodia, USSR, etc in the name of Marxism. And much of the evil in the world today is the result of Cultural Marxism.

Pol Pot got his ideas from the even-more-evil Karx Marx.

No option for Nick Cotton?

Re: Most evil person in history
I think it’s always silly and a massive oversimplification to point out individual people as being unworldly evil, based on things like the death count. It’s always dictators of some form who are singled out, rather than whatever climate led to them having the capacity to do what they did. Is chairman mao more evil than Jeffrey dahmer? I highly doubt it. You could walk into any maximum security prison anywhere and find inmates who are as evil as anyone else, they just weren’t politicians and they got caught.
That said, for me it’s definitely @walrus .

I whole heartedly agree Soros is evil. His links to Monsanto and controlling, trademarking food and involvement in the problems of numerous countries, including Albania where several of my buddies come from is shameful

The whole 'Yeah I ratted out other fellow Jews to the Nazis what of it? They were the best days of my life!' attitude is rather sociopathic.

Well because that "genius" who routinely pawned the family tea service and once owned only 1 pair of pants gave rise to a lot of evil dictators who killed in the hundreds of millions
A few serial killers were exceptionally bad: Pazram, Holmes, Bundy, Dahmer, Peck, Fish, etc

Think of all the innocent people who were murdered by people who followed his hateful ideology.
Mao, Pol Pot, Trotsky, Stalin, Kaganovich, Yagoda, etc were all MARXISTS. In total they murdered at least 100 million people.

Re: Most evil person in history
Hitler is overrated, liked dogs and was a vegan. Sounds a bit like Morrissey really.
Wasn't Jesus the original Marxist? I go with Tony Blair as he destroyed the UK. Took away freedom of speech, promoted faith schools, started illegal wars, opened the borders, as Middle East envoy did nothing for Palestine, and makes millions while trotting the globe promoting more wars. At least George Bush fucked off when it was over.

He killed millions, but not even close to as many as the Marxists like Stalin and Mao.
The Mongols killed killed every man, woman and child killed in Lahore when they took it, and did the same in other Indian and Persian towns and cities.

VERY different.
Christ preached love, forgiveness and tolerance.
Marx encouraged class hatred and violent revolution.

Re: Most evil person in history
My reading of Jesus is that he was a bit more radical than that whence the money lenders episode, arming his disciples, and denouncing empire and the Temple. He wanted to overthrow that system and create his Kingdom on Earth and become a peasant socialist king. It's just that God did not show up at the party.
I'm not against those values at all really, but to enforce it you would need violence and an angry God and the God of Jesus was of course the God of the time and not the God created decades after the death of Jesus along with all the other stuff. It's just that God was of course never there and so he was killed as a seditionist.
Christianity has been a rather bloody affair if we are being honest. Blair is of course a Catholic. Being against abortion is a horrible and cruel thing too. The most helpless brainwashed into having kids they cannot afford. That's pretty evil.
As the immortal Brock would say: 'The world is a Gulag'.

Re: Most evil person in history
Starting with the Pharaohs and then after that the Emperors of Rome it was just total mind control and The Matrix was established.
The Council of Nicea was the first International mind control experiment.
they were over 30 different gospels at that time and the council had to take a vote over a 90-day. In Nicea in Anatolia in about the year 330 ad
The pope and the Bishops and the Cardinals drove people out for fear of death who did not want to go along with the streamlining of the process. They eventually censored 26 gospels and kept four gospels Matthew Mark Luke and John which most closely matched. Yet even those four are wildly different on many points.
then of course in 1930 they found the 35 or so Gnostic Gospels in nag hammadi Egypt, which completely blows the doors off of Christianity forever I mean at least with those who have a brain
Haha what a charade yet people swallow it

There is some good in everyone. Jack the Ripper probably liked to watch the cricket with his mates.

"He was Rome’s 3rd emperor from AD 37 to AD 41. He was wild, extravagant, with a penchant for sexual adventures. In the first 3 months in his reign of terror, over 160,000 animals were sacrificed in his honor. He later got a brain fever that made him mentally ill. He then believed he was a god. He would kill his opponents slowly and painfully over hours or days. He decapitated and strangled children. People were beaten with heavy chains. He forced families to attend their children’s execution. Many people had their tongues cut off. He fed prisoners to a lions, panthers and bears and often killed gladiators. One gladiator alone was beaten up for 2 days full days. He sometimes ordered people to be killed by elephants. His cruelty caused people to commit suicide. He demanded sex with a lot of women including his 3 sisters. He would force husbands to give up their wives. He exiled his sisters and had his brother in law put to death. He caused many to die of starvation. Sawing people was one of his favorite things to do, which filleted the spine and spinal cord from crotch down to the chest. He liked to chew up the testicles of victims. He killed some of his most important friends and his father-in-law. One time Caligula said “I wish Rome had but one neck, so that I could cut off all their heads with one blow!” In AD 41, Caligula was killed by Casius Chaerea, a man whom Caligula had mocked at court for his effeminacy."

Vlad was actually just defending his people from a cruel foreign invader. His body was badly scarred from horrific beatings the Ottomans put on him when he was a boy. He did try to scare the Turks by impaling captured Turks along the road into the Romanian states, but under the circumstances it was hardly an evil act.
The fictional Dracula created hundreds of years later in the 19th century is nothing like Vlad Tepes.

A sentence should begin with capitalization and names should be capitalized too. B+ for effort.
