What more can he offer?
Wlad gave a real good go against AJ but it was not enough. He is not getting any younger so will not perform any better than he did last time out.
Wlad could beat 90% of the heavyweights with the performance he showed against AJ but other than the money and notoriety why would he put his body and legacy on the line?
Fighting Whyte at Wembley? Daft does nothing for either. Still doing the rounds on twitter etc though
Non-news as far as I'm concerned. Wlad gave up his timid style to engage AJ. Ironically turned in the type of performance we hadn't seen from him in ages... but in a loss. IF..... IF he were to come back, which he won't, it would probably be to try and revert back to Timid Wlad style, and frankly, I'd rather see him stay retired.
I think if he came back, he'd be more than competitive with anyone in the rankings, but there is no need for him to return. Maybe he wants the Fury and AJ rematches.
Probably wants Wilder , maybe Tyson again, but not AJ.
Wlad pulled out of the rematch, what would have possibly changed his mind about facing AJ.
I don't think he should come back unless it's for the fake wba title so he can retire on a win... His accuracy with his left hook looks to have suffered greatly over the last few fights, used to be his best weapon too... In sure he'd be very fit and competetive with probably everyone but its been time for him to give it up for a few years now...
Wladimir Klitschko Says He Won't End Retirement to Fight Dillian Whyte
Former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko does not plan on coming out of retirement to fight Dillian Whyte, according to Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix. Klitschko retired in August 2017. His last fight was a loss to Anthony Joshua in April 2017.
Wladimir Klitschko tells @sinow that there is no truth to the rumors that he could end his nearly two-year retirement to face Dillian Whyte this spring. In a text message, Klitschko calls Whyte chatter "fake news."
Klitschko retired with a 64–5 career record. The 42-year-old held the world heavyweight championship twice and won a gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Klitschko lost the last two fights of his career. He lost to Tyson Fury by unanimous decision in November 2015 and Anthony Joshua by technical knockout in April 2017.
The Ukranian fighter was rumored to face Whyte in the spring after a deal fell through for Whyte to face Joshua.

I dunno about Wlad coming back. It means nothing UNLESS he can score an easy $20 mil on a fight against Joshua, Wilder or Fury. Does not make sense to come back for anyone else as no one else can guarantee that kind of purse.
Wlad should just stay retired! Period. JMO...
George foreman came back and look what he achieved.
Wlad still has a better physique than the majority of heavyweights out there.
Wlad should return for a few fights and see what happens..he’s not doing it for money he’s doing it for more icing on the cake..
Wlad was shot for years BEFORE he retired. He can do, and will do NOTHING to help his legacy by returning. He won’t return
Please no no more hug fests
Wlad's not gonna come back for just anybody. He already said no to Dillian Whyte. He also dismissed a rematch with Joshua. Nobody would pay for another Wlad-Fury fight. And I don't think Wlad would step into the ring with Wilder, with visions of Wilder's 12th round bomb on Fury dancing in his head.
That leaves well..... pretty much nobody.
Not only that but he probably thinks.... "the first time in awhile that I get into the ring and go into the offensive and I get knocked out.... screw that.... back to my defensive ways."
I liked the Wlad that gave Joshua all he could handle before losing, not the Wlad that reigned for 10+ years before that.
No
DILLIAN whyte claims wladimir is tarking rubbish and told whytes guys that wladimir needs two fight before taking on whyte, whyte seems convinced he is coming back... on bbc sport news.
There are rumors that Wlad was negotiating a 3 fight deal with DAZN, a tune up, then Fury, followed by AJ.
I'm pretty sure he'll return at some stage.
I'm in agreement with you, I always prefer a fighter to stay retired over returning, but look at how Fury performed against Wilder, after his time out, and we know Wlad has kept himself in very good shape, I think he'd still be a big threat to the division. I'd prefer Wlad's comeback over many others that have occurred.
I still believe a lot has to do with Wlad's mentality if he comes back. I know the late Emmanuel Stewart did wonders for his career, but in a way it was at the cost of his marketability. Is it any coincidence that without Stewart in his corner, Wlad put on a terrific performance, albeit in a losing effort, against Joshua? Fans want excitement in the HW division, and they've gotten it back with the likes of AJ-Wlad, Fury-Wilder, and hopefully more to look forward to. If Wlad wants to come back, I'm pretty sure and agree with you Alpha he's got the tools to be competitive. But a lot about Wlad is between the ears.
Wladimir Klitschko drops fresh comeback hint in latest social media post
There have been numerous reports in recent weeks that suggested the Ukrainian is planning a return to the ring
Former heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko is continuing to tease a potential boxing comeback.
The long-reigning ruler quit the sport in 2017, opting to retire after his thriller against Anthony Joshua rather than rematch the new champion.
Now however, repeated rumours have emerged suggesting Klitschko could stage a return in 2019.
On Saturday, the 42-year-old dropped a fresh hint on his Twitter page by retweeting a post from fellow former heavyweight champion George Foreman.
Foreman made a unique comeback of his own and regained the world heavyweight titles at the age of 45 – making him the oldest champion in history.
The thought of producing something similar appears to motivate Wladimir Klitschko, as he retweeted the American’s response to a question asking at what age he believes he was in his prime.
George Foreman replied: “1994, I was 45 years old. I was the best fighter I’d ever been.
“I could fight and think. And I enjoyed my training.”
Klitschko previously dismissed comeback speculation as an “early April Fool’s Day joke,” however these rumours will continue to rumble on so long as he persists with teasing the prospect of another fight.
