"Sworn Enemies" update, Mayweather is boyant, Judah; as promised, is a ghost
Sworn Enemies Update!

By Karl Freitag
It's almost unheard of for a top fighter to have an open media workout on Wednesday of fight week. However, Floyd Mayweather Jr. invited the press to the Top Rank Gym yesterday, where he had a full-blast, two-and-a-half hour workout. No sparring, but Floyd hit the mits, hit the speed bag, hit the heavy bag, did floor exercises and worked on his timing with trainer Roger Mayweather inside the ring. Floyd will have a final private workout on Thursday, then recharge until the fight.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IBF welterweight champion Zab Judah, meanwhile, stayed in his room Wednesday and declined several scheduled press interviews. DKP's Bobby Goodman promised Top Rank that Zab would be at Thursday's press conference. Judah's promoter Don King was expected to arrive Wednesday night.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While Mayweather did approximately 30 interviews on Wednesday alone, the only Zab-sighting so far has been his grand arrival on Tuesday. Mayweather said Judah's scarcity didn't surprise him. "I knew Judah would shut down, but I didn't think I'd shut him down that early. As Mayweather was hitting the mits during the media workout, you could hear him repeating "He should have talked to the media...he should have talked to the media...he should have talked to the media..."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"There's no way he can beat me," Mayweather said later. "I'll win by knockout." Floyd also revealed that he walks around at 148 lbs. and he's already at 147 lbs. Earlier in the week, Floyd stated that the maximum weight he will ever fight at is 154 lbs.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A scheduled "Sworn Enemies" outdoor public workout on Wednesday in Las Vegas was cut short due to chilly, windy weather. A temporary ring has been set up in the Roman Plaza at Caesars Palace, but only Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. worked out.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As of now there are 14,000 seats sold and all 17,800 seats at the Thomas & Mack Center are expected to be full on fight night.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All the fighters are now in town for the fight. Also in town is world champ Miguel Cotto, who arrived Wednesday to be with older brother Jose Miguel Cotto, who challenges WBA lightweight champion Jose Diaz in one of the other title bouts on the card.
Judah as promised has been a ghost since the first press conference, but he needs to be a ghost inside the ring too if he wants to beat PBF.

Like in '03 then he lost in a yr. in '04, then 04' and lost early in '06 ;)
Theres no more comebacks from this loss for him.....He never trained or acted like a professional when it mattered the most, and saying he wasn't at his best (coincidently when he loses) against Baldomir, Tszyu & Spinks is the worst excuse he and you the fans can make for him....Hes a professional boxer he gets paid to do what he does, saying those excuses only makes him look worst. :)

Re: "Sworn Enemies" update, Mayweather is boyant, Judah; as promised, is a ghost
i feel he was robbed against spinks, tszyu was a bad decision by nady, baldomir he was unprepared

:coolclick: If Zab loses, I can't see him coming back. He should because he still has talent, but not determination. Floyd will win, but If he doesn't, I hope he doesn't make the same excuses. If you lose, admit you lost. Lacy admitted it.

Re: "Sworn Enemies" update, Mayweather is boyant, Judah; as promised, is a ghost
How can you say it was bad call by Nady without laughing right after?
You honestly feel he was in good shape to keep going?
Scratch that cuz being a fan will only blindly tell you to answer "Yes"

Re: "Sworn Enemies" update, Mayweather is boyant, Judah; as promised, is a ghost
i honestley think he only got up so fast cuz he was scared the fight would be stopped, he immediatley says something to nady,
if there was a standing 8 count nady could have continued counting

Fwock!!
I'll be honest with you the way Zab hit's the back of his head on the canvas scared the shit! out of me, cuz I've said it before 1st I'm a boxing fan I just didn't wan't to see him seriously hurt. I personally think he could have slowly gotten up to his knee maybe or sat up and try and get his shit!! together. Think for a second how Baldomir with 12 Ko's was able to hurt & daze Zab now think of the power that seperates Baldomir & Tszyu and you'll figure that the power of Tszyu + How he hit's his head on the canvas was more then enough to stop the fight. Sometimes we as a fans can't accpet when our fighter has lost.......I was an idiot to keep telling people at my house JCC was gonna turn the fight around in both of his matches with ODLH I regret ever screaming at the TV saying "JCC your a quitter" just to try and fulfill my expectations.......When he already had. :)
But I see where you and many Zab fans are coming from....

Re: "Sworn Enemies" update, Mayweather is boyant, Judah; as promised, is a ghost
chavez would have killed him if he wasnt like 40 >:mad
>:mad TO ODH
you know, in actuallity if there was a standing 8 count nady wouldnt have stopped counting when judah got up, therefore he could have continued counting when he fell back down..
since he stopped counting he would have had to violate rules to start again, and probably not worked a title fight for a LONG time...
i tell myself that is a sacrifice he should have made

I agree on that, but I think that Zab was so hurt it wouldn't have mattered name a fighter that has slipped away after being hurt by Tszyu?
you won't find one......

Re: "Sworn Enemies" update, Mayweather is boyant, Judah; as promised, is a ghost
Judah was hurt bad. If he would have continued he would have went down again. Joppy was hurt about the same way vs Tito, and I thought the ref would stop it. Joppy continued, and got back into the fight a little, but we saw the outcome. IMO, Joppy is more gritty than Judah.

Kind of reminds you of the way Roy Jones got up against Tarver. And then gets knocked out by johnson although it was a temple shot. Same idea

keep on bringing the excuses....no fighter should be unprepared, its his own silly fault...and against tszyu his legs were jelly, he couldnt go on....ive seen many fights stopped for less...and to be fair the spinks fight was close...

CC Miles, well put and in the Tszyu fight,Kostya would have caught him again somewhere down the line and remember, in the post fight interview,Tszyu said he did not put full power in to that shot, it was more timing, how would Zab have reacted if it was full power? Also, would the 1 min break in between rounds have been long enough to recover? I doubt it,I mean look at all the incidents that occured after the fight, the stall etc and look how long after that was and Zab STILL looked dazed to me. He apologised to Nady didnt he?

Re: "Sworn Enemies" update, Mayweather is boyant, Judah; as promised, is a ghost
I get sick of that shit about Tzyu-Judah being a bad stoppage. Name another high level fight where someone so obviously out of it as Judah was alowed to continue. It would have been irresponsible of Nady to leave him in with Kostya in that state. That's how boxers get their brains scrambled. (I don't think Zab's MENSA material to begin with. He needs all the operative brain tissue he has)
