Im excited for it too. I think most would agree that if it goes to the cards And is anything but a landslide for Jacobs, Canelo will get the win. Then again it really is a very close fight and he gets the decision, people will scream robbery anyways because they dont like him. I have a feeling the two are going in opposite directions though. Jacobs hasnt looked like the same guy who fought GGG in his last couple of fights, and Canelo has been getting better, he is my pick. Wouldnt be surprised to see him dominate and get a mid-late stoppage tbh. Jacobs is the one who has been stopped and dropped before, and his legs dont look as good as they did then. Plus Canelo may have found some next level meat from somewhere that is way ahead of VADA. Im talking biohacked rhinos or some shit.
Both fighters are at or near their primes. A boxing fan's dream. I think Canelo wins a tight decision
Jacobs wins, but gets robbed. Needs to really dazzle to get the nod. Shouldn't be that way, but what can you do?
Canelo didn't touch Mayweather and one judge saw it as a draw. Golovkin beat Canelo in their first fight and it was called a draw.
Jacobs likely (and rightly so) feels he'll have to KO Canelo to win. If that makes him reckless, Canelo's chin will save the day and Jacobs may open himself up for a TKO himself.
Having said that, I hope I'm wrong and Jacobs wins by KO.
I think Jacobs has to go for then KO/Stoppage which should serve up a real tear up 👊🏻👌
I know that Jacobs is going to have a very hard time getting a decision win, but going for the KO is just not smart. Canelo has a great chin so Jacobs will in no way win a fire fight. Canelo has problems with fighters who don’t let him set his feet. Jacobs has to stay on the move. We can only hope that there is a limit to gift decisions that Canelo can get before people stop buying into the hype.
With all that being said, I will give a lot of credit to Canelo if he legit beats Jacobs. All of Canelo’s biggest challenges have been at least kind of controversial. He has never beaten a top fighter clearly. The closest you could say would be Cotto, but I never even counted that as a dangerous fight.
I do think that Canelo has improved in the past few years (maybe because of the tainted meat), but Jacobs is definitely no gimme. We will see.
It's funny that this good fight is free on TV here, but AJ against some random fat bloke who happened to be walking past is PPV
i heard adelaide byrds back and judging this one

I think Jacobs can stop Canelo late.... Jacobs by ko in 9 or 10.
Jacobs looks seriously drained. Hope we get his best tomorrow night win or lose.
Adelaide Byrd is not going to be one of the judges for this fight.
Thank goodness for that. I hope Jacobs shocks the world and puts that infected meat eating caveman through the canvas and plants him through the ground in an effort to not only win, but also find out what is below the flat earth. You cannot tell me it is endless lava. Not only would it be a great win but a great scientific discovery. Go Jacobs! Go away Byrd! Rock and roll. Uppercut glory. Ginseng tea. Oh yeah, I got milk and I am not afraid to use it.
Canelo vs Jacobs: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs pulled apart as tempers boil over in Vegas
Watch Canelo vs Jacobs from 12.30am in early hours of Sunday morning live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action
Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs had to be pulled apart during their weigh-in for their middleweight unification clash.
'Canelo' will put his WBA 'Super' and WBC belts on the line against IBF champion Jacobs at the T-Mobile Arena in the early hours of Sunday morning, live on Sky Sports.
Jacobs (35-2 29 KOs) was bang on the middleweight limit at 160lbs, while Mexican superstar Canelo tipped the scales at 159.5lbs.

After the pair weighed-in tempers boiled over during the face to face when both fighters pushed their foreheads together.
Canelo shoved Jacobs and the pair had to be pulled apart while they angrily shouted at each other.
"Emotions are flying high. I ain't never backed down a challenge in my life," said Jacobs, who was flanked by his son.
"Everything that I do is for my family. Everything I do is for Brooklyn and for the culture.
However, Canelo countered: "That was fear right there, what he did."

I've arrived at a place I'd rather not be and that is thinking that not only does Canelo take the W but he may very well knock Jacobs out. The weight's one thing but also Jacobs simply doesn't have as many tools and is getting out of his skin with the pre fight back and forth. He'll keep it calm cool and collected to start but can't help but see him running into more counters especially if he goes full throttle attack mode. Jacobs can be tightly wrapped and susceptible to that faster inside work and shots he doesn't see coming. Top notch match up and comes down to heart v mind a bit for me. Love nothing better than for Danny to leave him in a heap.
Jacobs came in at 173 this morning. They were contracted to only be able to weight 170. He is getting fined 250k per pound. That’s a lot of money. I’m sure it was calculated though. He wants the weight advantage.
Good, he looked like crap yesterday
Hopefully he looks alive with that extra few pounds rightfully on his frame according to the RULES, not the contract.

More info on the weight situation and the article calls Canelo out for the catchweight
Rehydration clauses make no sense whatsoever. The only rule should be about making the predetermined weight. They need to just switch back to same day weigh ins to avoid these types of things. It would dissuade fighters from dropping too much weight, and if they did drop a ton of weight, it would affect them even more.
This will not go to the scorecards. Canelo to get stopped.
Same day weigh ins is it. These guys are professionals. They should have the making weight process down pat. They know their bodies. They also have a team around them of competent people (or at least they should have one). Same day weigh ins should've been instituted long ago. But then that would've made a shambles out of the early career of Canelo and a couple more like him. Rehydrating and gaining over 20 pounds overnight is B.S., and someone should've put their foot down a long time ago. If you can't make weight you go up to the next division (or catchweight, as is the norm these days  ). If you do make the weight, you're mindful of coming in in good fighting shape... not like some giant prune.
Truth be told if the shoe was on the other foot I'd be tearing Canelo down..again..for blowing the contracted agreed to weights by throwing diva money away in order to gain a supposed 'advantage'.
Canelo is such a cheat in every which way. 'Rehydration clauses'? Why can it never be straight?
I hope Jacobs hurts him. 24 times.
Seems we've been saying that for years now ;D. I really don't have a problem with rehydration clauses given that both are well known for blowing up that 12-20+ lbs you mention. It's not like Jacobs is entering a new division for this middleweight match. That whole Fielding carnival that Canelo had..could have been a test lab experiment for him with Jacobs and clause in mind.
And Chavez Jr is totally understood when he comes in a bloated cruiserweight ;D. The man made an agreement for the clause, he's not the first. If a guy needs to blow up double digits, just go up in weight and do it officially all I'm saying. But their isn't no Canelo moola up there for him is there.
I put a whole speech about this same thing and the safety issues involved. But everyone already hates me so I deleted it haha.
The safe thing is to make people fight in their class. Some will try to cut same day and get destroyed because they are weak and then we would have people fighting in their actual weight class and less people dying. But more cancelled fights, lost money or lost lives, I know which path I expect the sport to take as it always has.
I think you have to accept it if the weight in is a day early. Ideally same day weigh in for me, but otherwise if you make the weight at the weigh in then that is all she wrote for me. Both of these fighters end up heavy, so I don't get a re-hydration clause for this one at all. CW's and re-hydration clauses are a bit gay to me. Just weigh in on the day and let the least drained man do his thing.
Sadam Ali v some fellow, I'm not sure I was doing yoga and only just switched this on, I Thi k his name is young, he seems to be doing ok so far at the end of round two.
Oh wow 13-1 underdog Anthony Young stops sadam Ali.. Great for him, he hurt Ali with a body punch then wfhacks away at his head, Ali didn't seem too bad that might be a bit of an early stoppage but wotever....
Nick name is juice....
The irony is nuts considering Canelo has been playing the weight 'advantages' and massaging CW all the way to 160. His size was near comparable there but he pulled that bs weight game the majority of the time. What they did to Angulo was worthy of ski masks. Now he's in with officially unofficially the biggest guy he's faced and stands aloft on that whole A side thing. But Danny is also talking out of both sides and was raked over the coals when he refused the then required second day weigh in v Golovkin and came in what 178-180'ish? To me, guys blowing up 20+ lbs has always been a pet peeve and undisciplined and a literal misrepresentation. We've seen guys get seriously injured and near killed doing it. But..then again the same day would be very tough. It's a bit of a shat catch 22. Imagine both drained down on fight night after years and years of coming in with a few extra, or 20 extra ;D, pounds. Again very prone to injury with two dehydrated fighters. Not to mention the exterior concerns of networks, ticket sellers and fights being cancelled on hours notice because some guy blows weight, intentionally or otherwise. Todays divas are too intrenched for same day weight ;D. I think rehydration clauses for guys known to puff up can be a middle of the road compromise in some circumstances.
Lyoto Machida v chael sonnen.... Bloody ell whsaat year is this...
Now Lamont roachy Roach Jr is fight a fellow named oquendo, it's not fast fres but he's probabky owed a rematch here somehow....
DMX for Roach and oquendo comes out with a peculiar Spanish cover of snows informer....
3rd round now and mostly uneventful so far, Roach is doing pretty well but oquendo isn't a total plum and is hitting back.
