Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
Looks like it's Pearl Harbor day Dec. 7th on Showtime. Was honestly hoping for more from Charlo as the 160 division is in full motion. Don't get me wrong Hogan fought his arse off and arguably just edged out a nod via hustle v Munguia and has been middleweight years ago. But as much as I like Charlo he's letting it all pass him by a bit.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
I agree. He really needs to make a huge fuss about something. He can’t just allow these kinds of fights to be made. He has to fight a top guy
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
I don't think the Charlos are the killers they have been billed as, and they seem like scummy guys. Very explosive and talented and all, but as boxers I dont see special, they wouldn't have been that difficult to beat. It's a good time to start making the big fights because all of the guys who I would think would have beaten them a couple years ago are getting long in the tooth or moving out of the weight. Don't know anything about Hogan, heard he could've got the nod over Munuiga, so good for him landing another opportunity I guess. Think the Liam Smith fight showed there were a whole fuckload of wholes in Munuiga.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
Good to see Hogan getting another title shot after the Munguia fight.
-
Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
Have we heard anything from Hearn about why the Andrade fight couldn’t be made?
Glad Hogan is getting another shot after the Munguia win but like has been said if GGG and Canelo will always avoid Charlo then Charlo needs to find a way to get Andrade to fight him.

I like the fact that Hogan is getting another big fight, chance to shine but not against a 160 champ. If Hearn and Oscar or Munguia had any salt they would have made the rematch instead of teasing it out for him to only next face a speedbump half his size.

Charlo seems stuck. The whole Dazn v Showtime, he and Andrade stylistically would be a solid match up.

Jacobs is WBC #1 as well, another fighter I'd like to see Charlo fight.

Charlo and his handlers said they have no issue fighting on DAZN.
The Jacobs fight would be great.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
Jacobs is moving up in weight. He already said so. He looked drained against Canelo. There’s no reason to stay at middleweight to fight someone like Charlo. It’s too dangerous of a fight.

That is the very reason he should be taking the fight, unless he is severely struggling to make 160.
Derevyanchenko might enter the WBC ratings, maybe Charlo could offer him a fight.

I think it is too difficult for him to make it. He wouldn’t be at his best and Charlo doesn’t bring the money like GGG or Canelo.

Understand, like I said, if he is severely struggling, then a move up has to happen. All I was pointing out is that last I saw he was #1 with the WBC and it's a fight I'd like to see. Would a Jacobs vs Charlo fight do better money wise than the Derevyanchenko fight did?

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
Crawford gets tons of shit from the Al groupies for being on the "wrong side" (Bob) yet are silent on Charlo being on the "wrong side" with Al/PBC. Why ain't they demanding Charlo leave Al for Eddie/DAZN where all the top middles are?
By the way, Jacobs and Derevyanchenko are with Al Haymon too, there's no excuses for Charlo to not make big fights.

Are you capable of not misleading? Charlo is no star, he can’t duck mandatories like he was ducked. If Jacobs wants the fight he gets it because he is the mandatory. It quite clearly is not Charlo’s decision. Don’t even try to deceive on this because it is too painfully obvious

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
Eubank Jr vs Korobov on the undercard.

I really like this fight, I only wish Koroboc was a little bit fresher.

He looked good against Charlo. I actually think Korobov wins this fight

He did look good against Charlo, but even then I thought he was past his best. But I agree, I'll take Korobov over Eubank. Although I feel he struggles if it goes late.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
That is a solid fight! Good on Eubank coming over and good fight to see winner face Charlo hopefully, unless Hogan pulls the shocker :-X. I thought Eubank looked a little bit reluctant warrior in spots v DeGale. Clearly was a beat up but was looking for more fire in the belly from him to push for finish.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
Very competitive battles. Here you can see that both favorites could lost

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
There was talk of Charlo v Andrade happening after but Charlo’s trainer was “you don’t get anything from fighting Andrade”, that’s a bad look to start. You get a belt if you win, yes belts don’t matter much but being the only unified belt holder in the division means something for potential future fights. Would be really disappointing if Charlo has a chance at Andrade and goes another direction unless he has a chance at GGG or Canelo which both seem very unlikely.

I heard the same thing. I will be very disappointed if he does duck Andrade.

Not just his trainer, Charlo said it himself, "nobody knows Andrade so fuck him."
The truth is, Al Haymon wont let his PBC fighters on DAZN regardless of the money offered, and DAZN/Eddie can easily outbid them for the fight. The exact same as Tank-Farmer.

this is BS of the highest order. Proof, Derevyanchenko, hell, there is a laundry list of Haymon+PBC fighters that have fought on many different networks.
I could further tear down the rest of your nonsense propaganda but we get it, it’s always the same, black man bad. It’s boring

Hilarious. Who told you Derevyanchenko was with Haymon? Me. The Klan man.
Eddie, Bob and the other powerhouse promoters with TV deals aren't black, I say the exact same about them, they wont let their "stars" on other platforms. Get back in the "gyms" for some more "inside knowledge" you Walter Mitty two bob paranoid cunt.

Re: Jermall Charlo v Dennis Hogan
Chris Eubank Jr is targeting a showdown with WBC middleweight title holder Jermall Charlo in 2020.
Eubank Jr will make his American debut next month when he takes on Matt Korobov in New York in the first of his two-fight deal with Showtime.
The 30-year-old, who spent his teenage years training in the States, has not fought since beating James DeGale in February to become a two-time IBO champion.
“I’m looking to stop a guy each and every time I get into the ring,” Eubank told Showtime via WBN.
“No matter who it is. And Matt Korobov, a hell of a fighter. I believe he beat (Jermall) Charlo in the fight he had with him last time year.
“But I’m going to come out here and stop him. I’ll make a real statement out here in America.”
The Brighton-based middleweight then wants the undefeated Charlo in 2020.
“That is the goal,” said the Brighton native. “We are co-main eventing, so it’s definitely a fight that can be built.
“I believe I am a far superior fighter to that man. I’m sure I’ll be able to showcase my skills against him in the next six months.”
