Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Should be a good little test for the Mexican for a few rounds.
However, i've really posted this thread because of a womens world title fight on the undercard - Franchon Crews Dezurn-Alejandra Jimenez.
Now I don't like to be rude about peoples looks, especially women, but i'll leave the Mexican girls pictures here (the meat is out of control down there)

Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
So Alejandra has fought almost exclusively as a heavyweight... but this bout will be fought in the super middleweight division. Alejandra hopes to have a huge weight advantage over her opponent when she enters the ring.
Hmmm..... where have I heard this shit before...... :scratchchin: :scratchchin:
It's not only the meat that's out of control down there. There seems to be a clear and definite M.O. ;)

Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Hector Tanajara jr is on the undercard.

Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
another disgusting message from the past brought to you by Phentanyl.
I apologize to the board, I thought pointing out his racism would help it to stop. But I see he’s just ignorant. I will no longer point out this bigots bigotry

Great!

Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Fentanyl is spelt with an f though.... Did I miss an obvious cryptic joke with the change to pH?.. Maybe like a pH scale?.... Errrrr not that I know anything about fentanyl....
I like munguia, he's obviously a bit rubbish but it's quite fun watching him in action. I'll be watching this one.

Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Damnn, old Fenster even gets called a racist bigot for hinting at PED use in fighters, didn't even say it, hinted at it. Just can't win around here....
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
If that upset you Ron I suggest you don't listen to her opponent, Franchon.
"Her facial features and all that have changed but I don't want to get into it." :o

Interesting thing going on here. Tanajara didn't go to Riverside to train with Robert Garcia. He stayed home and was prepared for the fight by his father, and sparred with Mario Barrios, Joshua Franco and Bam Rodriguez.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
jesse hart v joe smith jr is also on saturday

That is interesting, they are all good young tough fighters to train with tho. Will Garcia be in his corner?

I'm guessing not, but I don't know. His father was spending a lot of time in Riverside for previous fights so maybe this was in the cards from the start. The father changed the name of his gym in San Antonio to the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy, RGBA.

Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Here’s to the haphazardness of city workers and large machinery. Apparently our area service provider has been fubar since Tuesday so hopefully the idiots will get back up by tomorrow night. Been on mobile and squinting more than a temperamental Clint Eastwood but Smith Jr v Hart on a real screen could be pretty decent also.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Card has started on good old dazn(still great value in Canada btw)
Rios just got knocked down and counted to whatever 10 is in Spainish :S... Hector Valdez wins
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Light heavyweight fight now at 185 pounds :S, 18 year old git is taking on a six foot eight guy.... I think kalkteuth will have an easy time here
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
And first round knockout, kalkteuth looks handy, powerful hooks for the two knockdown, he did take one alright punch though, the really tall jobbers that they bring in tend to be terrible though.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Burgos v ranco now, little fellows, Burgos throws a lot but Franco has it under control quite easily.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
What Do these San antonio gits have against Mexicans called Burgos... Another is taking on the hometown prospect.... The two San antonio fellows also didn't buy any tickets for this... Not sure why trejos keeps asking.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Anabolic steroids can lead to an expansion of the cardiac muscle, which can cause heart attacks. The drugs also promote the growth of bones, particularly facial bones such as the jaw, and the teeth
......... Claudia trejos called here Alejandro... Bizzare
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Bloody ell... Woman's fighting has got a lot better recently, this is terrible though...
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
I just hope Spike harnesses everything left to try Munguia close. Hey miracles do happen right ;D. Have Smith and Hart about to go on this end. McGirt waved his fighter fini in 8th v Steven Nelson and focus totally on tragedy last year. We don’t really think about how it may follow trainers permanently too?!
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Alejandro v Terry crews desomething(woman who last to claressa shields, who I had no idea who she was before today......)... Is really terrible boxing... Reslly terrible... But it's great in a circus like way, pt Barnum would love it.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Wot the heck... She's wearing a wig.... Bloody hell this gets stranger :S.... Wig slipped in 9th round, crews held up a hand and ref calls a break.... They pulled off the wig in the corner... This is a strange malignggi like event....
This all happened btw.. Bizzare
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Made it ten rounds... Possibly the worst fight ever but the bizzareness of lesbo God/major doper and wig wearing champ mixed in with terrible boxing made it great..
Woman puts wig back on crews. Trainer throws it away, this wig is brilliant..
Split decision win for Alejandro... Bizzare, she's terrible.

Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
I have no honest idea what Jesse Hart is trying to do in this one. Smith doing nothing special but everything strong and upfront. Hart is fighting like a ballerina trying to click his heels and wake up in a safe place.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Hart had a few decent spots with left in 9th and 10th but not close to enough. Smith Jr has hit that ceiling already.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Geez the site is slow, or is it just me?
Smith 8-2.
98-91 Smith.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Munguia has started pretty well, still wild. Ofcourse but he's going backwards and still out landing him, he does have a nice left hook to the body.. Maybe there's hope for him yet... Aha o sullivan ends the second round with a couple of good punches.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Munguia looking much better than the last time he fought a paddy, he puts the punches together well... He gives o sullivan some damage in the third round and then right at the end when he tries to kill him takes a big one(he he he) and nearly goes down.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Munguia is pretty good at switching his punches, his left hand is good, hook to body then up to the head... He has potential for sure but I think hr isn't smart enough to make the most of his abilities. He really likes to attack
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Point off for munguia in 6th round... O sullivan down in 7th from low blow but nothing from ref,????.. Need to see the replay.. O sullivan is damaged a bit and complaing to ref a lot.. So of course munguia goes wild and tries to kill him :S and fails
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Knockdown looked like a low blow btw
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
9th round and munguia has him pretty much out and now is the time he decides to not go for the kill :S....... He did some damage there but he could have easily ended the fight in that round.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Corner throws in towel with maybe a minute left in 11th round... He was taking a mild beating but it was over... He would have survived till the end but wotever.....
Munguia has Improved a fair bit, he has some good hands but his defence whilst better is still Rubbish... He's not like barrera either, barrera learned to be good at switching from boxer to mad man.. Munguia could have had him out in the 9th if he went mad... Blah blah blah... Mungegit has potential but I think he won't make it to the top.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
I get that Munguia is still fairly young, but he takes way too many shots. By the time he is ready for the top dogs, I think his wars will have already caught up to him and he won’t be much of anything. I think this is really the best of Munguia we will get. He isn’t bad. He is just an exciting Mexican that makes entertaining fights.
Maybe he should go the Gatti route. It doesn’t matter if he loses sometimes. We still want to see him fight. I don’t like this coddling. We aren’t tricked. We know he isn’t that good. Let’s just throw him in there with whoever and make some good fights.

Jaime Munguia calls out Canelo, GGG after 11th-round TKO of Gary O'Sullivan
It might have taken longer than he expected, but Jaime Munguia made sure to deliver a knockout in his middleweight debut.
Munguia pummeled Gary O'Sullivan against the ropes with a series of stinging rights and lefts before the veteran's corner threw in the towel behind the referee's back. Munguia dropped O'Sullivan seconds later, and the ref spotted the towel to bring a halt to the fight. The stoppage gave the 23-year-old Mexican an 11th-round TKO victory at the Alamodome in San Antonio on Saturday night, live on DAZN.
"I would give myself about an 8 or 9 (out of 10) because I needed to still do a few more things, but we're going to take this fight by fight," Munguia said of his debut at 160 pounds during the postfight interview on DAZN.
https://s.yimg.com/it/api/res/1.2/dk...b601a8414d94eb
That said, Munguia wants a crack at the best the division has to offer, led by the face of boxing, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
"I want to fight against the best of the division," he said, "whether it's Canelo (Alvarez), (Gennadiy) Golovkin, (Jermall) Charlo."
Absent from his list of middleweight championship mentions was WBO titleholder Demetrius Andrade.
Munguia's first stab at middleweight was definitely an invaluable experience. The 35-year-old O'Sullivan was rugged enough to hang with the quicker, stronger puncher and frustrate him at times. The veteran even caught Munguia with some big shots that tested the former junior middleweight champion's chin.
It took Munguia (35-0, 28 KOs) committing to his jab in the ninth round to show real-time maturity and pull away before pummeling O'Sullivan into a retirement from his corner.
Earlier in the fight, O'Sullivan repeatedly complained about low blows and rabbit punches. Munguia even had a point deducted in the sixth round for a low blow. In the seventh, Munguia seemed to have dropped O'Sullivan with crunching body shots, but it was ruled another low blow — although unintentional this time. Munguia drove O'Sullivan back against the ropes with a fast combination during the waning seconds of the seventh.
Four rounds later, Munguia got the stoppage he was seeking. Now he'll look to further test his skills at 160.
Co-main event: Alejandra Jimenez def. Franchon Crews-Dezurn to win WBC/WBO women's super middleweight titles
Jimenez wobbled Crews-Dezurn with a big right hand in the second round, and she seemed to immediately realize what damage the punch could do. The Mexican fighter, who had moved down from heavyweight, showed the willingness to eat Crews-Dezurn's punches just to dole out punishment of her own. The non-stop pressure worked; Crews-Dezurn's legs were never the same from the fourth round on.
Although Crews-Dezurn showed plenty of fortitude in fighting back, and while she, in fact, landing more punches, Jimenez produced the harder shots throughout the fight. That output powered her to a split-decision victory and the titles. Judges saw it 98-92 and 97-93 for Jimenez and 97-93 for Crews-Dezurn, though the scores could have easily been tighter.
After the fight, Jimenez said through a translator that "we're going to go for Claressa Shields at middleweight" next.
Shields (10-0) on Friday became the quickest boxer ever — man or woman — to be crowned a three-division world champion. It didn't take her long to respond to Jimenez.
Hector Tanajara Jr. dominates Juan Carlos Burgos; lightweights
Tanajara asserted the jab and stayed on the outside through the first five rounds. The last five had him stepping in the phone booth and connecting on powerful, stinging shots inside. The combination of strategies led to the 23-year-old fighter scoring a unanimous decision (99-91, 97-92, 97-92) and improving to 19-0.
Joshua Franco stops Jose Burgos with ninth-round TKO; junior bantamweights
Franco rocked Burgos with a left hook and unleashed a barrage of unanswered shots to force the stoppage in the ninth round.

Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Munguia would get worked by Canelo. It wouldn’t be close. GGG is not what he was, but he would still destroy Munguia also.
Although as I said before, he might as well just go for the big fights now.
-
Re: Munguia-Spike - Saturday
Munguia has shown improvement but he will struggle with the top guys at 160.

Gee...... REALLY?? What a fukking surprise!!!
Telling ya...... it's those Mexican 'roided cows (no... not Alejandra :D ) that are all the rage down South of the Border.
