Classic
This whole album was just miles ahead of anything and Fela Kuti's influence in dragging Byrne out of the Eurocentric mindset was key. The production is other worldly. Stick your cans on and remember this was recorded a hundred years from now in the future, and sent back to 1981

Not to get on a bummer but if you ever lost a friend or loved one, this is perhaps one of the greatest dying songs you can find.

I've always had a thing for national anthems. The South African national anthem (Nkosi Sikela) is my favourite song. Good mention to the Russian national national anthem

Tracy Chapman. For a woman who rarely give interviews, rarely see her on TV, has not put any new music out since 2008. It's amazing how famous Tracey Chapman is. Great song

An incredibly catchy tune. This is on repeat. Pitbull (Who I normally can't stand) and Stephen Marley (Son of Bob) combine to create a great tune

You probably forgot Brock but you used the same words about this song long ago bbwwwaasaa it’s Brock, Brock is back. In the beanz crew

Hey if you posted that just to flush Brock out fair enough, but that still suggests that you originally posted it or something like it without that intention, so I'd ask the same question he did. I know it's not like you don't like all kinds of great stuff Wally, so what's the deal?
Well that’s a song by the band phish. I don’t know if you are familiar with them and the following they have. I am very eclectic when it comes to music. Just because I like something doesn’t mean everyone will. I usually don’t comment when people post songs I don’t like as who am I to judge their tastes. There are people who don’t like the Beatles. To ask the question “is that music” well what is music. Not all cultures play in key like western music typically does. Is the African tribe beating drums and chanting music? Is the sitar, an instrument we are not familiar with music? There is a shitload of sound I don’t like, I don’t question it just because I don’t like it.
And yes pound for pound I had originally posted a Grateful Dead song that Brock used the exact same words to question. If you don’t like the Grateful Dead, that’s fine, I have loved them for years
Here is phish I’ll let you tell me if it’s music
