Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
Did anyone get the feeling that if Zab just let his hands go that fight would have been over early? Seriously. I'm not sure if he was tired or the body blows got to him, but it just seemed like if he would have started swinging PBF wasn't going to be able to hang. Zab looked way too strong and far closer in speed that I initially thought. It was almost frustrating to see him standing there is the mid rounds. Everytime he got agressive he made floyd look average at best.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
i think he was hesitant because the gloves mayweather was wearing pissed him off in the 3rd round, the motions he was making were what i used to do to people in fight night 04 to tell them to stop spamming parries

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
on a side note, I have to admit, Floyd has some serious freakin' defensive skills.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
Plus a very good chin. he took shots from Judah that would have knocked out anyone else.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
why does everyone else keep talking about PBF gloves...he had on the winning so what they were for extra protection for his brittle hands...he's worn them for his last five fights...anyway judah lost period..leave it alone and move on to the underdogs meeting..because judah lost and now it's time go wish upon the next "upset floyd guy"...

:coolclick: Your not crazy at all.
Even Zab's trainer, Yoel was pleading for Zab to let his hands go.
And your right, it would have ended early. Both fighters don't like that kind of fight pace.
But had he done that, and kept his pace, two things could have happened:
1) He could have TKO'd Floyd Mayweather.
2) He could have been stopped himself!
But is that good or bad?

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
Etrigan you have proven time and time again you know nothing about boxing... Its clear that Floyd Mayweather wasn't used to somebody with almost his speed, but once he adapted he was beating Judah to the punch not really letting Judah get off. Against the best counterpuncher in the world its you can't just open up especially when they are a little quicker than you.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
I got the feeling Zab could win by decision, but Floyd took his shots. When Zab saw he couldn't KO him, he didn't know what to do. Then Zab started eating body-shots, and that further took his heart.
You say Zab should have let his hands go? He did, and landed, and had to look himself in the mirror when he couldn't take Floyd out. When he looked, he didn't like what he saw.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
Look in the last round when Judah opened up... Floyd dodged everything... I think Floyd was just adapting to his speed.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
Could I get the link also??? Thanks in advance...

With 119-109 being a score I doubt that Floyd would have lost via decision. No matter what happened.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
I think Zab is mentally scarred from his upset with Baldomir and his loss to Kostya. I do not think he can ever overcome the embarassment. He was doing good against Mayweather until Mayweather found his distance and timing and began to land. Once this happened, Zab started to think back to his recent Baldomir loss, and subconsciously opted to go the distance as opposed to taking a chance and risk dancing/being knocked out.
I don't even blame him. Losses like Zab's can really affect a fighter's mentality. Especially when your career is on the line, you were expected to be a great boxer, and you have the P4P #1 infront of you.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
Zab fought the best fight I've seen him fight, probably superior to the Spinx fight. He fought four focused rounds early on and didn't look for a way out until the 10th by which time he was getting beaten up. He gave Mayweather some trouble and proved what a talented athlete he is. He's just not as well rounded or as good at winning and he needs a better corner that gives him more calm and more strategic advice.

Re: Did anyone get the feeling that Zab
Judah landed some impressive-looking counter left hands when Mayweather moved in during the 1st 3 rounds, but I never had the sense that Mayweather was stunned at all or in any trouble. Once Mayweather switched to lead right hands Judah had no answer though, and took a beating from round 5 onwards.

Well, I read this thread and all I recall seeing is people making statements and you commenting on them by saying ' ::**'. Sorry if I was ment to read through all of the other threads and find your posts.... I didn't think thats what you had to do in a thread... I was under the foolish impression that each thread was about one specific subject...
