I hope Avaneysan wins and wins well, and then totally rips into Connor Benn. Benn has called out the World and his wife, but never once mentioned the name of the guy who stopped a highly rated Josh Kelly in his tracks.
If Benn wants respect, Avaneysan is his next move. But clearly he doesn’t fancy the job.

Avanesyan starts aggressively as a southpaw in the first round and stops Metz.

He is vicious and would wipe Benn away.

Avaneysan will have to win a world title before Benn will accept a fight. At least it keeps Conor humble and quiet for a bit.

Even then Benn won’t want it. Benn wants the Money and titles too easy . He knows (and so does Eddie more importantly) he loses and that’s the last stop on the gravy train.

Total matchmaking farce. No idea who the Finish bloke is, no business being in the ring with Avanesyan. Assuming we go along with this fantasy that he's the most avoided man in boxing. Oh yeah some people think that. He's hardly being done any favours with this shower of shit. He's dining out on the Kelly win. Decent win but Kelly flattered and he had some pretty glaring issues.

But from Avanesyan's perspective surely it should be about World titles and not entertaining some kid who's bubble every man and his dog expects you to burst. The interview I saw , he said he wanted Spence, Crawford, any of them. Then he was asked about Benn, and he said “yeah, if he’s got a title. But Benn won’t fight me.”
And this is the point. Benn has called out every meal ticket going. Brook, Khan, Broner, even Eubank Jr. For fucks sake.
But never once has he called out somebody with a European belt , ranked #1 in one of the governing bodies rankings, that beat Josh Kelly guaranteeing loads of kudos . And it’s the quietest he has been on social media.
