two ibf eliminators have been added to this card. at super middle vladimir shishkin vs jose uzcategui & at bantam vincent astrolabio vs nikolai potapov
this is a fantastic match-up & a quality card
can't wait for this. two unbeaten lightweight prospects fighting each other in their primes. solidly matched undercard fights as well

Love the fact we're seeing something that used to be normal. Two top young prospects getting right at it and with minimal "marinade" and let's bang the drum diva BS we see so often today. I have the feeling they're high fiving Rivera in the back room. But I think Martin catches up with him between his comfort zone.
Bad is that Uzcategui is brought in after they just saw him unfit and pulled him as an opponent for Benavidez :cwm13:. Why is he being handed this opportunity..in an IBF title eliminator..with being popped dirty just last year. He ballooned up to 190 six months ago! Boxing is so forgiving for all the wrong reasons.
Noticed regular Showtime/PBC stopped using one of the other 5 Showtime channels to air early and full undercards. Used to be on Showtime Extreme or Fox.
Omar Juarez has 3 points docked for low blows, evades the dq and takes a 10 round decision over Austin Dulay.
Thought Potapov beat Greer Jr and Astrolabio wasn't exactly facing a real live Rigo. This might get messy early but in an entertaining way! Ref shout out to Mills Lane, cool.
Woah, Potapov down! Side-back of head and ref waves it as no KD ???.
should have been a knockdown
Came from the front sure looked clean but let's have a replay. Astrolabio sting in his shots is clear.
Potapov down again, having a tough time sponging these shots. Clean lol edit second KD. On replay looked like a cuffing right but counted. Weird first round.
vincent gets a knock down ruled with ten seconds to go in the first. ten eight vincent
Potapov trying to punch with him mid 2nd. He's cut over right eye. Astro strong jab but eats a nice right from Potapov end of round.
two rounds for vincent
Astro with that physicality but Potapov getting in crisp fast hooks second half of round. Astro not moved by them and apparently willing to take to close distance.
gave the third to nikolai
Getting chippy mid 4th, some rabbit punches and Potapov raking face with right glove. Astro warned for another rabbit punch. His jab is strong and on though. Potapov rocked by left hook at bell! Nice shot that one.
I just want to call him Potato
fourth to vincent
nikolai takes a knee, wants to continue
Hurt again and takes a knee for count of 8! He's in a pretty bad way. Astro just way too strong and now working the gut.
big fifth for vincent
Great little inside 1-2 combo for kd by Astro. Dude can crack.
nikolai down again, stays down this time
Outsized outpunched and could not sustain that. Little power jab of Astro is real.
Evening chaps. Full of Christmas cheer tonight. Looking forward to a decent main event.
Shameful Showtime and pbc totally ignore PED violation on Uzcategui lead up. Not even a finger wag.
jose uzcategui v vladimir shishkin. first to vladmir
two rounds for vladimir
Shishkin thinks he's Maravilla Martinez in the 2nd. Bit slapish but really picked his spots clean. Ref getting really involved now
Man. Nice combo from Shishkin. Catching him sharp and often on the way in and little back from Uzcategui. Ref warns Uz for holding
vladimir outclassing jose with a deep arsenal
That uppercut short or long is zeroed on Uzcategui. Very accurate. And he's doing some acting along the ropes to buy time and work the ref now :-X
all vladimir after four
This ref must have a 'break it up and warn' quota. Literally every 15 seconds at one point. Have Shishkin all 5.
five rounds to vladimir
six zero for vladimir
