All the makings of a hard and fan friendly fight this one. Almost having best of both worlds and better in big picture than Fulton taking rematch. No idea where returning Jarrett Hurd is but maaan, I couldn't have been more wrong about a fighter. Was so convinced he was 'it' :-X.
Talk about luck...I just set up my vacation at work, I'm set to come back March 1.
Later that day they announce a fight, a world title fight, featuring somebody I know in my hometown. I was scheming immediately on how to go to that fight but, because of my job, I have to get corporate approval for days off and I couldn't get it changed.

Pretty grim undercard for a Showtime slot can only see main event living up to potential.
I see this being very one-sided for Figueroa
Looks like it's set as triple header. It's the 101 time Fundora fights for the wbc interim 154 belt and Mendoza is coming off a pretty sound demolition of former champ Jeison Rosario last Nov. Though he's unranked by the body. wbc gonna wbc :-X. Undercard bit all over the place and may change but announced are Brandun Lee v Pedro Campa and Luis Nunez 18-0 v Christian Berreda 20-0-1.
Running into turbulence today with 504 gateway problem but looks good at the minute. Decent undercard earlier with Gausha scoring a sudden tko 9 over decent Brandyn Lynch and young Travon Marshall with a brutal ko 3 over Justin DeLoach.
Very nice mini war between middles Amilcar Vidal and Elijah Garcia thru 4. Garcia gets him hung up on the ropes and unleashes a brutal 5,6 punch combination for on knees and face in the canvas kd. Ref waves it right off.
Did Garcia do a Tyson Fury in the replay ;D. Looked like he bounced a right uppercut off the head of Vidal and ate it too. "Oh look at that I hit myself" ;D
Jarrett Hurd v Armando Resendiz at 160 next up. Huge question marks on Hurd. 13-1 (9) Resendiz debuted at lt heavyweight.
Resendiz with an assertive strong 1st. And throws in a leap-up headbutt for good measure, intentional but ref says no no. Hurd better get them off.

Mid 2nd Hurd finally uncorks right and catches Resendiz at the end, he felt that. Hurd looking to rip off inside and jars him again with uppercut. Hard exchanges by both. Hurd probably has his power measured now. Another huge uppercut snaps Resendiz at bell :-X.

Hurd getting away with some lower belt tapping :-X. Awesome 4th. Resendiz staying up front and Hurd trying to get in between with power. Jab was solid but Resendiz gets him to ropes and clips him. Tough round edge Hurd
Resendiz out jabbing him early 5th. Kid has some big brass he's all here for the slugfest and upped the output that round. His best round here. Gritty ass fight.

Jebus what a fookin 6th. Pick your poison. Slower but bigger one shots for Hurd...Resendiz has a engine block for a head, that upper was right on the sweet spot and walked thru it. Resendiz took the first half.
Face of Hurd suddenly went to mush, lip or nose busted? Both standing on each other and throwing literally all bricks. Resendiz upped his angles and landing clean here. Hurd corner teels him he needs a KO. Resendiz 7th

Resendiz 8th the momentum is all his. Both have really felt the biggest lumber and pay it no mind. Hurd slowed but still in for it.
Oh Resendiz first time jarring Hurd with a straight right hand. Hurd took it but stutter stepped. Rosendiz 9th. Just a brutal brutal fight, Hurd needs that last round KO!
