Will be looking forward to this tomorrow. Great styles mash up and glad they went thru after it fell apart earlier. Both looking more than human recently but have to go with compact counters and respectable power jab of Valdez..when he uses it..over the wide volume and chin blowing in the wind of Navarrete. Think it finally catches up and also can’t get the image of him essentially being ko’d and saved by the ref last time out of my head vs Liam Wilson.
Anyone catch weigh in? Hopefully no mystery screw jobs with the scale this time

its an unrealistic pace and progression with him and about 100 others they force feed on air. In the span on 10 minutes I’ve seen he needs a top ten guy, he’s a great boxer, Torrez can fight for a title next, and the ever present “top puncher at heavyweight’ :-X. Barrera and Morales ringside looking top notch O0 Man that sends you back. Still can’t understand a word myself ;D but they sound good. Unpredictability and awkward power angels of Navarrete sound like a key.

Simply put, Valdez will must go to war and roll the dice even this early. Face already reddening.
Both fighters swinging for the fences early on. You get the feeling it's a "who's gonna land first" lottery.
Great study and trap setting from Valdez in 2nd. Got left hook in when Navarette stepped in and stepped away. But he’s sitting right in the middle for the opportunity. Heating up very nicely !
Valdez getting the worst of it so far. That huge reach advantage making a big difference.
Navarette surging in 3td. Feels like he’s felt the power and resetting on his own. Caught Valdez a nice left to body also. For as long and awkward as he is Navarette is very fluid in combo.
Site is lagging and timing out a few times. Just going to enjoy rest of this one. Navarrete looking strong.
Valdez eye looking terrible. I think his only hope is a knockout win.

good fight. i had it the same as one judge who had emanuel winning by four points. those other two cards were too wide for me

Not the very elite as Shakur showed, but what an event. The Morales/Barrera build up told us what to expect and they delivered. Not as skilled as Morales/Berrera wars but the complete willingness to go to war was similar. I wonder if Alvarez watched this and understood of which he is robbing the sport.
Having Morales and Barrera there should be a vivid reminder to boxing fans of what the champion mentality is all about. Two truly Mexican greats, who did honor to their country's rich boxing tradition.
Thankfully, no one involved had the "bright idea" of inviting Ginger to go sit with them... because bluntly put, he doesn't belong.
