Collazo looks very slim, saying that Ricky is probably still on the big macs!!

I knew KNEW KNEW HBO would put Gatti in with Hatton...that's a great promo for them...two modern day Rocky's or two blood & guts warriors...but what if Gatti were to beat Hatton in a brawl?
What then?
He won't mate!!
Gatti is finished IMO
Great find skel mate
Agreed...but the what if factor is amazing as far as what they have lined up for Hatton.Quote:

HBO could bank some cash offa that...so could Hatton.
Hatton Gatti would be a war BUT Hatton could get cut up bad!! I still think he would win, just not sure how? Stoppage?Points?I'd say late stoppage but let's not jum ahed of oursleves, the Hitman has to take out Collazo first and he is no bum.
i CAN REALLY SEE IT UNFOLDING AS HBO WANT.
with the finale of the trilogy a showdown with pbf.
Exciting stuff ahead for Ricky who must be so happy he feels like a pig in sh*t ;D
KERF*cking CHING $$$$$$$$$$ :o ;D
This would be great for Hatton, a fight with Gatti would bring in big bucks and not be THAT dangerous for him (as long as hes on form).
Good to see our boy getting payed.
but doesnt gatti have to beat baldomir 1st
YEAH, everybody acts like Gatti already beat himQuote:

Very well put gents...Baldomir will be a hard pass for Gatti IWO.Quote:

if gatti does not beat baldomir. a fight between hatton and baldomir would still b a good one as well
hatton would destroy gatti imo, bodyshots would knock him out
yeah, he probably will beat him, If he looks like he did against Damgard.
but if his body completely fails him he's screwed. and there is a good possibility that could happen
I don't mean to overlook Baldozar but even if Gatti loses, I can still see the Hatton fight happening because of the $$$ it will generate.
What if Baldomir beats Gatti, then Hatton where would this put him on the pd for pd list ;)
Very true...HBO still banked offa Gatti & Gatti still drew in a crowd after Floyd beat the life out of Gatti...& I'll be honest...Gatti looked a beaten man...even against Dammgard for a few rounds.Quote:

That's a damned good question...but an answer that none of us are going to have to worry about losing any sleep over. ;DQuote:

Gatti vs Hatton sounds great but I thought Hatton was still fighting at 140 and I know Gatti is staying at 147. Is Hatton next fight his last fight at 140 ???
His next fight isnt at 140, Collazo is at 147.Quote:

I don't think that these are good figts for hatton. Not because he will lose(50/50) but because of his ultimate goal to fight pbf. Fighting these guys will in no way help him learn how to beat a fighter like floyd. To be honest I have never seen hatton face a fighter like floyd(technical style-wise). He needs to get in with a decent technical boxer so he can get a good feel for how they work. It would be for his own good cause if he doesn't I can see pbf making him look like a fool for 12 rounds. I don't think that anyone who has never been in with a slick boxer should make floyd their first test because they will most likely get owned.
If Junior Witter wins his WBC fight against chop chop I heard somewhere hatton will be back to 140 to fight him. I think that one would sell out a stadium back in england no problem.
I hate when Boxing has these "could be's if"
Hatton can fight Gatti "If" he gets by Collazo
gatti can fight Hatton "if" he gets by Baldomir
I Don't think Gatti is in Hatton's league, but I still feel the same thing would happen to Hatton if he fought Mayweater that happened to Gatti.
u guys are nutz---gatti would rough up hatton easy--its a tailor made fight for gatti--hes the bigger stronger guy and would control the fight with hatton with his jab and rough him up and beat him down.........i see gatti whitewashing baldo easy and then whipping ricky, then retiring.........on top...........lets remember baldo is a chump journeyman....zab is a mental case and is beatable on any nite b/c he has a 2 cent head............lets not overrate baldo here--hes another guy whos tailor made for gatti--why do think gattis handlers wanted that fight so bad? if they had any reservations they wouldnt put gatti in there especially if gatti can get one more bog payday against hatton possibly
Lawhoops i will give you any odds you want on Gattin beating Hatton, he has gone for Baldomir as an easy option, but it wont be easy but for me Gatti will win.Quote:

Gatti struggled against the Danish pastry last time out. Hatton would do a number on him.
But whatever comes out of your mouth regarding Ricky Hatton people dont listen to anyway, you talk alot of shit at the best of times.

struggled? he dominated the fight and kayoed a guy who had never benn beaten.....daamgaard is a far better fighter than baldomir.....hatton would struggle with daamgaard and even possibly lose the fight againt daamgaard ..i tghink daamgaard with his pressure style and with ricky's style it would be an explosive fight that could end badly for ricky on cuts
Man you should charge for this shit you are a grade A Comedian, you ever done the circuit?? You could make some real $$$.Quote:
