The excuses for this dimwit are a sad state of where we're at. He's a (non) professional athlete and is responsible for what he puts in his body. The "contaminated supplement" will be their course. At least they're not blaming some hole in the wall steak house for tainted meat, well not yet.
They're currently deliberating whether or not they should give him a permanent man or just some time off to reflect 🤣

Wow. If Ryan would have been negative pre fight Haney would probably have known how to block a left hook and the fight would have been different.
This is what boxing has come to. Haney has made a career of coming into the ring 20 plus pounds larger than the weight class he represents and cries because the other guy missed weight. The other guy was taking some type of drug to make him better in some way.
It is the same reason guys are getting killed in hoods across the country in record numbers. Nobody is willing to put in the effort to learn how to fight and everybody is afraid to get their ass kicked, but they all want to act tough.
Never liked Haney coming in so heavy but at least he makes the weight and is within the rules.

so ryans team sent in samples of the two supplements that he had declared on the vada doping control forms & they have have returned positive for ostarine contamination. the samples were opened & not factory sealed. the standard for testing supplements normally calls for sealed samples from same lot number. ryans team is looking to get a four month ban
Four months ban would be ridiculous and send a poor message to drug cheats like Garcia.
In a sick and twisted way I kind of have more respect for Garcia's apparent 'I couldn't give a flying fuck about any of this' approach. At least he's being somewhat honest about his dishonesty.

so king ry gets a one year ban, forfeits his contracted purse, gets a ten thousand fine & the fight becomes a no contest, he also has to undergo random drug testing during the suspension. king ry announced he was retiring yesterday before this decision came out
