		Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois
Heavyweight Anthony Joshua has begun talks to fight fellow Briton Daniel Dubois in September.

Joshua, 34, is expected to fight at Wembley Stadium on 21 September and was ringside to watch Dubois beat Filip Hrgovic last Saturday in Saudi Arabia.

Dubois’ promoter Frank Warren confirmed talks were under way.

Dubois, 26, stopped Hrgovic in their IBF ‘interim’ title fight, putting himself in prime position to be called as the next mandatory challenger to Oleksandr Usyk.

Ukrainian Usyk has requested his IBF belt not be stripped so the undisputed title can remain on the line when he fights Tyson Fury in their rematch on 21 December.

If the IBF decides to strip Usyk, Dubois could be elevated to world champion and that could then make a fight with Joshua a title bout.

Joshua is on a four-fight winning streak and is already a two-time unified world champion.

After losing those world titles in successive defeats by Usyk, Joshua has rebuilt himself in fine fashion, producing three stoppages in his four wins.

Dubois too has been on the comeback trail with two victories since failing in his own bid to dethrone Usyk in August 2023.

The Londoner stopped Jarrell Miller and Hrgovic, the latter being a fight Dubois was an underdog in.

I have a different opinion to you, so what?

Dubois fought a very good fight against Filip. He adjusted, kept up a high pace, showed good foot work and stopped the previously undefeated contender.

Totally entitled to your opinion. And who knows , you could be right. But you’re easily swayed. It’s about levels , and when the going gets tough, Dubois has been known to give in a couple of times.
But, I’ve given Dubois credit, Saturday was probably his best performance. But let’s keep it real, he got tagged clean on the chin a few times , and if that’s Joshua , he’s done.

Good fight and it sure as shit better not be in the silent half empty library of Saudi Arabia! All I'm saying. UK or bust! I think AJ is too fluid for him. Dubois is on a great resurrection tour and proved many doubters wrong. But I also don't like the way he reacts when caught clean, especially in combination. There's a subtle rigidity and he stops for just an instant. Can see AJ cleaning up all over that. But you can't understate his confidence now. Career upswing and a strong jab has done right for him. But AJ tko after a nice mutual fire fight.

daniel outlasted a very lazy opponent who looked very ill prepared. the amount of right hands he took in the early rounds is not what i'd call a very good fight. anyone who throws more than just the right hand in combination is going to cause him problems

Re: Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois
Dubois adjusted well by doubling up the jab and using his footwork. Filip could not keep up with the fast pace which was why he tired not because he was ill prepared.

Dubois will make further improvements to avoid taking the right hand from AJ to land his own hard bombs.

No problem with this match up. I'd favour AJ but as long as dubois is in there he has a chance.

Dubois eats right hands like candy. Dandy Daniel gets "Ngannoued" by round 5. Lo stronso non diceva niente importante

 Importante? ;D;D

Re: Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois
Joshua beats Dubois up nine times out of ten. I'm not a fan of the saying, but there's levels to this. Dubois has a slim punchers chance. At the top end, I think the Dynamite in DDD is false advertising.

filip was overconfident coming in & kept mentioning their sparring. he thought he'd just walk through daniel & didn't take him seriously. filip has always been lazy in the ring & barely throws more than one punch at a time. daniel can make all the improvements he wants but aj won't just be throwing one right hand at a time

Re: Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois
I may need to watch it back, but on first viewing it looked like Dubois nutted his way back into the Hrgovic fight. Not intentionally. But he was very much second best. That said, Hrgovic doesn't need much encouragement to yield.

Those were some nice chopping right hands reminds me of the way Francois botha used to throw it, a pure overhead right but didn't have a lot of mustard on it

Re: Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois
Buster Douglas believes Tyson Fury 'no longer has the strength' to withstand powerful punches ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk later this year.

“Right now I think AJ beats Fury.

"It's not that Fury is on the decline, he just no longer has that strength to withstand that force.

"Once you start putting your punches together, he tends to get weak as the fight goes on and his power levels start faltering.

"It's a strong possibility that AJ would knock Fury out, I think he would. He would definitely take Fury out.

"It would not go the distance, AJ would knock him out.

"And AJ-Usyk is right now also a good one. I'd say AJ beats Fury and AJ Usyk is 50-50.

"AJ is looking like he's on a mission and he's finally got it together and he's changed some things.”

Re: Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois
		Good matchups!

Hamzah Sheeraz v Tyler Denny who are both active and on good runs.

Shame Josh Warrington did not get the rematch, that suddenly fell apart.

Joshua Buatsi v Willy Hutchinson will be intriguing as Hutchinson was impressive in his last contest and has the attitude take the fight to Buatsi. Shame the Yarde contest was not made.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois
AJ looks deadly serious in that face off and seems to have Dubois number. They seems to know something about Dubois trip to Brazil, maybe he has had some treatment for an injury.

AJ and Eddie looked at one another smiling when Frank said Dubois gave Usyk his hardest fight. They will obviously disagree.

Re: Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois
This finishes early whoever wins. Personally I think it’s AJ Inside 5 rounds. But Dubois isn’t without a chance, albeit a very long shot. But again if Dubois is to win , it’ll be in the early rounds.
This fight doesn’t even get into the second half.

Heavy main event but a so-so UK undercard makes me miss Lewis on non "PPV" HBO ;D. Dubois does come off as not the sharpest crayon at times.

Smith by KO (unless hes shot)
Sheeraz by KO (Denny is a sacrifice)
Cacace probably by KO (warrington is cashing in now)
 Buatsi probably points
I think the last one will be closer than people are expecing

Liam Smith should have pulled out against Eubank in their rematch. Glad he did the right thing and not cheat his fan's this time by trying to get away with another injured performance.
