Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Gone pretty much under the radar and PBC/Prime have done a bad job of promotion here. But here it is :p. First fight has Elijah Garcia vs Terrell Gausha. Garcia laid an egg in his last fight unmotivated and looked terrible losing to an inspired Kyrone Davis. Gausha drops Garcia in the first round tonight and they're now into the 5th.

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Have to say I like the production graphics and small things from Prime much better than Dazn. But why are these cards so darkened and hiding the crowds now? It's all so gloomy. Maybe it's not a massive crowd but it just kills the atmosphere of a live fight, the energy. It's literally pitch black horrible.
Solid 5th for Gausha

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Right hand of Gausha absolutely on point in 6th, uppercuts and arcing over the top. Garcia eating them like potato chips and not getting out of the way at all. Couldn't miss him that round.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
7th Gausha also. Garcia digging better to the body with both hands mid round but Gausha moving well off the ropes and getting off repeated 1-2-3s mid ring near the bell. Just one solid step ahead and levels are showing big here.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Gausha 8th basic boxing 101. Letting Garcia get off wide shots and timing the right in spots. Garcia moving like he's wearing concrete boots and zero head movement.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Gausha 9th rinse-repeat. Like to see either one mash the gas this final round but little to no desperation from Garcia so far.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
10th heated up but Gausha always with the answers and rolling off 1-2s by the half dozen. Garcia ends with a crimson nose leaking. Have 97-92 w/kd Gausha he was in a zone.

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Split call....95-94 Gausha...95-94 Garcia...96-93 Garcia :o
You have to be fuking kidding me. Absolutely atrocious call. Out fought, out punched and out connected over this fight. THIS was a clear robbery.

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Jesus Ramos Jr v Guido Schramm. Schramm is a late replacement. Ramos looks huge and takes the 1st
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Guido is not liking the body shots of Ramos. Getting beat up a bit in the 3rd and doing that stoop down and turn sideways thing. Ramos picking his punches well and the bodywork is quality. Corner of Guido needs to stay of their toes he's not long for this punishment
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Ramos up 4-0 controlling the action and much more effective punches. Schramm gutty trying to press but to his detriment
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
6-0 Ramos. Get the feeling that Ramos could step it up any time and close the show. Nothing on the shots of Schramm.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Schramm was running on brass balls and instinct. Big left hook spins his head like a piñata along ropes and Schramm stoops and buckles as ref steps in to wave it off. Good stoppage in 8th.

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Very classy final 10 count toll of the bell for George Foreman. Not lying hearing that was a legit gut punch.

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Think its fair to ask, just exactly where is Fundora leading into this. The multiple cancellations, opponents and off what was a war with Tszyu. We're about to find out. Booker looks all business.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Welp don't go far. Booker not moving comfortable early and gheesh the size difference :-X. Going to be in and out of this one. Hope Booker has an idea as to getting inside or at least countering. Solid jabs by Fundora :-X
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Going to come a point where Booker gets sucked into that inside wheelhouse, have to stand get respect. Very vocal ref between rounds. 2-0 Fundora
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
3-0 Fundora Booker trying to claw for more ideas in spots. Couple of right hands but the height clearly a puzzle to solve.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Ref has warned Fundora twice now for forearms.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Oh brutal combo of uppers drops Booker.
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
No knocks on Fundora he fought smart early gauged and really shut the show down. Those uppercuts are brutal, no wind up just a natural leverage off the hip and good win moving forward.

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
I wasn’t too interested in the card since the outcomes felt predetermined, and when an underdog actually wins, they don’t get the decision anyway. Garcia vs. Gausha looked like a clear robbery—why even bother having the fight? Just hand him the win… lol. The ProBox card delivered. Lester Martinez is starting to look seriously dangerous.

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Fundora did well and broke down Booker well. Glad he is active and hope he stays busy. How he makes the weight, is beyond me.

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Vergil Ortiz would straight-up knock Fundora the fuck out, no doubt. Fundora got that freakish height, but Ortiz bringin’ relentless pressure. Once he gets inside and lets them hands go, Fundora goin’ to sleep—no ifs, ands, or buts

Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Fundora gotta bust out that jab while he rollin' in. He got a love for that close combat. I ain't sold on him yet, but he might sneak past Zayas. Best to catch Zayas now 'fore he gets his stripes
-
Re: Sebastian Fundora v Chordale Booker- Prime
Looks like they ordered the Zayas mando. I've been all over the place with Zayas last few performances but end of the day I guess I'm just not convinced he's going to get that much better. Not that he can't improve no doubt, but that he's shortchanged himself by the fast and resistance free path to the literal top spots. That's going to hurt him with Fundora me thinks and I wouldn't be shocked to see Fundora ground him down very late and maybe stop him on his feet. He'll be learning on the job moving forward especially if he wins at the highest levels as a champ. The kid is obviously talented and can't forget he was ready to jump right into the Vergil fight too. It's a fun fight though look forward to them crossing paths.
