if you dont believe me
about me being a reporter heres the evidence...
Labelled by legendary trainer Brendan Ingle as being ‘better than Khan', Kell Brook hopes to get his fledgling career back on track on the undercard of Alex Arthur's Commonwealth title defence in Edinburgh on April 29th.
Brook, 9-0, a welterweight trained by Dave Coldwell under the Sports Network banner, was due to fight on the undercard of the big Joe Calzaghe-Jeff Lacy bill in March, but a hand injury ruled him out and he missed a chance of his fight being shown on ITV.
"I injured my hand in the gym on a bag, it's a common thing that happens to boxers,” explained Brook about his enforced absence.
“You knock the skin of your knuckles, but it just got infected and I had to go in hospital for four days with blood poisoning. My hand's recovered 100 per cent now and I'm back in training 100 per cent.
"It felt good getting back in training because being in hospital you can't do anything; you can't use your hand and you just want to get back in and start training again.”
Knowing TV coverage is critical if he is to fulfill his full potential, Brook expressed his disappointment at missing a golden opportunity to reach a growing domestic audience.
"Gutted. It's frustrating you know because you're training that hard and the next minute that happens…so frustrating.”
Depending on the nature of his performance in Edinburgh, he might appear on the screen as it is likely the card will be carried by ITV4.
Trainer Dave Coldwell understands Brook's frustration but is pleased with his progress generally, making particular reference to his charge's previous weight problems when excessive eating caused him to miss another potential TV date. Brook's penchant for tasty grub – now a thing of the past according to Coldwell – caused him to miss out on a bout below Amir Khan-Daniel Thorpe in December.
“Kell has had much documented weight problems but to be fair to him, he's been behaving himself really well. He's walking around at no more than 11 stone. He was in the audience for a recent show and a few commented on how well he looked – he was 10st 10 that night and quite ripped.
“It's been frustrating for him to miss the last couple of fights but he's on the right track now and dying to get back in the ring.”

i went to LA SPACE SCHOOL, where i was trained in all methods pertaining to space. Professor Lt Col Ganders once said, "This kid... hes gonna make a fine astronaut" of me. I was pleased.
I majored in testing the effects of items in vacumes. This was fun. I measured many things, and calculated many results.
I arrived at Space Academy on June 6, 1997, and I trained in the metronometer, a previously secret device, that trains people for space related porposes. I was told I was a fine prospect
On August 3rd I was sent to the location from which the launch would occur, I camped out for three days, met some hardcore TA guys, and learned tactics from them that I could use to protect myself should I encounter any evil life forms.
I launched 5 days later... space was fun.
