Ali and I don't think it's really a contest. Lewis is an all time great fighter but he's just not Ali.
Ali was all mouth, He had a trilogy with Frazier. I'm just saying Lewis would ko him out. :coolclick: for you my friend.Quote:

Lewis may beat him but Ali's legacy was better
Please..........Joe Louis and there is a shout.....but Lennox i think thats offensive to Ali. And i like Lennox met him at a west ham game and said what did you think of prime tyson to which he said thank fook i didnt have to fight him then!
Ali would have toyed with Any of the Heavyweights (A prime Ali) From the early 80's to now.
Simple as that 8)
Duke I just lost alot of respect for you! Did you make this post on April 1st? Man anyone who knows anything about boxing knows Ali would MURDER JEFFREY THE BUTLER in a heart beat let alone dance around and humilate him. Not only did Ali fight the best of the HW era ever he did it in a graceful entertaining way. not by punching at arms distance like Lewis even admits he did for most of his career. Ali had a chin of titanium. Lewis chin? Ali fought only the best at his prime and their primes. Lewis dominated a weak division that was past its prime. Ali took the hardest hitters right on the chin and showboated right after they hit him, Lewis took average hitters punches on the chin and then took a nap on the canvas. Also Ali was so great that we never even knew how great he was because he was robbed of his prime prime years. he wasnt even aloud to box during them. Frazier would murder Lewis too, So would a Prime George Foreman, Prime Sonny Liston, Prime Ken Norton, Prime Larry Holmes, the list goes on and on brother.
Lewis was good but at a sorry asss time in the HW division.
always a good argument when lennox is involved. if you take away the ali legacy and just base it on a one on one match with comparison to boxing skills then lewis has a shout. 6 foot 5, mobile, great jab, good uppercuts on the inside. the men ali faced with a similar size to lewis? ernie terrell, ali beat him with ease but do you really think lewis would fight him like that. I dont think so. alis speed is obviously a factor but so would lewis jab. tough one to call in my book. lewis could very possibly outpoint himQuote:

he had best the character and was a top comedian
he was voted the most attractive man
erm didn't klitschko beat lennox on point, then scared him soo much and knock him into retirement
And to shut ur mouth, lennox hero is Ali (lennox own words)
so stop wasting ur time that ur hero saying it
all thats very good but i thought we were judging on a boxing matchQuote:

always subjective when comparing eras and styles. all you can be judged buy is the mark you left in your era. alis obviously is second to none. whose to say that the tyson that beat spinks doesnt beat ali?
Good point....i'll get slated but i think Prime mike gives ali more trouble then boring lewis.Quote:

IMO - Ali dominated the best ever era

In terms of greatness Ali win hands down - if they had actually fought it would've been very interesting, I don't think the size would be a massive factor, there is only a couple of inches height difference, I would guess their reach is about the same, and Lewis at 30 years old was only about 225lbs (obviously prime Lewis was a lot bigger)
Basically I'd go for Ali all day!!
well said. thats the point I Was trying to make. forget the legacy and base on boxing ability...Quote:

stop wasting ur life
lewis before said he was the greatest of his era and ali was the best of his era.
but once klitschko best lewis on points only after 11 days of prepation, lewis pormise to give rematch which he said in the ring but refused later.
lewis got scared about what could happen in the next fight especially if klitschko perpare full 12 weeks and if refree never stop the fight.
But after this fight lewis come on johnathan ross show and said with his own mouth that ali is the great all time and i mean all time
So easy to spot a wind up merchant!!Quote:

Klitchko led 4 rounds to 2 - how many times in history has the guy (narrowly) leading at half way gone on to lose - Quite a few me thinks!!
Klitchko looked like a patchwork doll, Lewis didn't have a scratch, who do you think Won??
If you aint sure check out the record books which say LEWIS TKO6 !!!
Do not be stupid.
Ali was a racist fuck and would have been knocked out from every fighter from 1985 and forward - in today’s measures he would only be a semi cruiser....
have you seen Ali fight at all?Quote:

Ali defeated him in his prime, please think before you speak and then you wouldn't sound like such an idiot.
Thxs
Ali was 6 '3 - and when he fought Foreman he was bigger than...........................
The Holyfileld that beat Bowe and the Tyson that beat Holmes - floored theory (New Wind) my friend!!

OK I realize this is a bad topic(I mean Great), Because everyone is attacking each other. Every man has their right to their opinion. But I stick to Lewis Ko Ali in 7-8 rd.
Ali has never been knocked out in his whole career, he had one hell of a chin
I think a Lewis could have been the first, :coolclick: my friend.Quote:

Some peeps gotta see through the mist and actually realise that alot of the modern fighters do have a chance with the old time boxers ;)
Because people get blinded by Ali's legacy and reputation

1. Joe Louis
2.Muhammed Ali
3. Rocky Marciano
4. George Foreman
5. Sonny Liston
6. Mike Tyson
7. Joe Frazier
8. Larry Holmes
9. Jack Dempsey
10. Lennox Lewis
Ali.
And if they fought each other. Ali.
Lennox would he hit with a jab whenever anyone stepped in with a jab Lennox would be hit. Ali would beat him on the step in jab alone. Lennox had height and size but he wouldn't have catched Ali.
For the love of god we have morons here Take a look at their careers and then decide. I say Lewis hands do. You cant be serious lewis would look lke a slow plodding clumsy goof agianst ali. ::**
No shat, Lewis is a intelligent boxer. He would never for for the Rope a Dope. To be honest, If that fight happened today(Foreman) It would be stopped with Ali getting hammered in the corner by big George. Ali was a great fighter but not the greatest.Quote:

And prime Ali used a cross block and a shoulder block rather then a rope a dope.
