One thing about it. Hatton would need Floyd more than Floyd would need him to gain any more success.
If its true that Floyd got in LEONARDS FACE LIKE THAT , HE'S JUST LUCKY LEONARDS NOT 25 YRS OLD AGAIN, BECAUSE LEONARD WOULD CRUSH FLOYD. WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THESE YOUNG BOYS WITH THEIR IN YOUR FACE ATTITUDE, A YOUNG DURAN WOULD HAVE PUNCHED HIM DEAD IN HIS GRILL IF HE HAD PULLED THAT BULLSHIT WITH HIM!!
CC for the article, nice read bro. Hahaha,in the ring, I think Floyd would win,out of the rinf,Ricky would eat him, crush him literally!!!
Time for Flloyd to stop mouthing about Hatton and Margarito, and actually fight them.
He says Margarito has nothing to offer, yet PBF keeps going after people who have lost to unknowns or are nearing the ends of thier careers (Baldomir it appears and Gatti - talk of Oscar). So as Flloyd likes fighting second rate opponents, in his mind Margarito is one, so why not fight him.
And if Flloyd really is the best P4P, then sign to fight Hatton next and not Oscar.... :lickish:
O0
i hate mayweather, when will this punk fight someone good.
Margarito doesn't have anything to offer floyd...nothing...and if you call floyd's opponent's second rate...then Margarito's must be amateurs...and doesn't he have four losses? clearly not to anyone I can name except for santos...so they must really be some garbage...and its no wonder no one will fight him...he's a loser...with four big ones on his record already...Quote:

i cant wait till ricky hatton crushes his head and eats his nuts on stage.
Margarito had no amateur career, his losses came early, therefor it was as if he started his amateur career when he turned pro.
Margarito is a different fighter altogether and given training for Flloyd and the right metaility, who knows what could happen.
And Losses mean nothing.
All the greats have losses...Wright, Hopkins, Barrera, Morales, Moseley, Dela Hoya, Trinidad, all be it, to other greats, but look at Lewis, Mcall, Rahman, second rate fighters.
So if Flloyd says Margarito has nothing, and we all know how Flloyd likes shutting peoples mouths, then why doesnt he fight him, he hasnt got anything signed yet, and it looks as if Hatton will fight Gatti or Baldomir, and Cotto will stay away for a bit, it leaves De La Hoya, who says he will finish after Mayorga, Zab, which would be pointless and.....
Margarito....
So why not?
If he is so confident, beat him......
I already clicked you taoday,I'll click again tomorrow.Good points. Also Floyd himself has said Margarito is a good fighter, and is beong offered $6mill,he got $5mill for the Judah fight so......Quote:

And who's fault is it that Margarito turned pro early? His right? Okay so that's why he has to deal with the fact that those losses hurt his market value...yeah I know they were early, but bernard hopkins started late too didn't he, yet he still didn't have four losses on his record..he's just now got four losses and he's 41...point is it's margarito's fault he turned pro early and had to learn on the job, now he's paying for it, by not getting big fights..another fighter looks at that says...why do i need to fight him he's not on my level, not to mention he hasn't even beat anybody worth mentioning....
i don't know what's wrong with Floyd, does he need to be so disrespectful in real life?
I thought boxers understood each other, what it takes to be good etc etc
I think he was just playing with hatton when he said that and Hatton got sensitive...Quote:

Try "I'm going to kick the shat out of you Hatton"
"You ain't shat little ricky"
"Once I get through kicking your a$$ you can go do what you really want to do which is be a wrestler"
You see, so many other things for floyd to say, but he was being casual about it, sort of like when your sparring your buddy you tell him you're going to get him...it's not disrespectful...

Either way, Hatton better make this fight happen after the Collazo fight.
He thinks Mayweather doesn't have the strength to hurt him because of his size? If he thinks that....then....
Yes I know of the instance he squared off with Ray Leonard. It was him and Zab and Ray and all three of them were having a laugh and playing around.
Ray was talking about his era and Mayweather said with a grin "Ray... but you know you wouldn't last in our(referring to him and Zab) 's era."
And then all three had a good laugh. It was fun and games actually.
""I only said two words to him, really," Hatton began."I was sitting at ringside on my own and I saw him walking down my row. I'd never met him in my life so I stood up thinking 'Well, this will be interesting'. I went to shake his hand and said "Nice to meet you Floyd" but instead of taking my hand he started pointing at me going 'I'm gonna get you! Outta my way!'
"I said, 'Get out of the way? Fuck off"
So Floyd is an unprofessional jerk like Zab Judah :-X
Either that or he's trying to get under Hatton's skin. Which apparently he has done ;)Quote:

As good as Floyd is, he's not an entertainer outside the ring. Did anyone see the interview they had between Mayweather and Gatti during the fight a week before their bout? Mayweather was mimicing Ali with such things as "If he does so and so (can't remember exactly what he said) then I'll cut it to 4" - he went on and on, sounding illiterate, studdering and things of that nature. It really made me sick listening to a guy who probably cheated his way out of high school attempt to be colorful and charismatic with words. And despite the alias "Pretty Boy", does Floyd have any idea how ugly he is? I don't mean inside either, externally he's just fucking ugly lol
Great fighter, he's just full of shit and not what people find to be entertaining - Probably why you don't see him on Letterman or Leno like you seen Lennox Lewis, Roy Jones, or the Klitchkos. O0
The whole article seems fake, quotes and all.
floyd's a little nob isn't he. i mean hatton would murder him in a scrap, so whats he mouthing off outside the ring for? have some respect. and i dont really think its uo to hatton to make this fight happen. he had wanted this fight for years.
You're dumb.Quote:

excellent read :coolclick:
bring it one, pretty boy....this is a tear up i NEED to see....
i really think hatton can do a number on floyd...
the only thing torn up would be PBF by hearns right hand. duran would have tenderised his ribs, leonard would be a good matchup but SRL always found a way to win at welterweight. PBF should worry about what hattons gonna do to himQuote:

Stating they got on fairly well and were pretty cool with each other 8)
Jury's out for me and i reckon it could just be hype ;)
I'll ask him personally soon ;D
You mean the right hand that didn't land againt SRL...And duran would have gotten close to floyd...but I'm done because frankly i'm too tired to argue about fighters from two seperate eras.....none of the old fighter would beat the young fighters...because there is too much technology available to fighter now that weren't then, and these fighters have the benefit of studying fighters that fought before them that's why they learn...that's why man gets better, because you take what the old men did and make it better...just like when floyd is done and some young chap comes along he will be probably better than PBF...because he will have studied the tapes of the older fighters, PBF included....Quote:

Secondly, why does Floyd have to be a gentleman. It would be nice if he were all quaint and "Yes sir Mr. Hatton, and you have a woderful night," but if he didn't, who cares.
Ali bad mouthed probably every boxer he ever fought. It's almost bizarre that people are demanding respect in a sport where people puch each other in the face.
