I guess you could say that after Lacy lost, but do you read posts around here? How many people actually thought Byrd was going to win? Like 4 or 5 people maybe? Wow, good call by you, you were right along with 95 percent of the people on this boardQuote:

God help us if they ever but Byrd and Ruiz in the same ring.
Yeah, I just saw that Wlad won. good for him, I'd love to have a reigning champ.
Trust me, I'm not some self righteous hating asshole. If Wlad holds his title for a little while and defends against a couple of game oppenents, he completely gets my respect. Defeating Byrd is step in the right direction, but its a tiny step in term of greaatness.
I don't know about that Muhammad Ali comment by Sal. Somebody's been huffing gas.
i mean in style, he fights like ali, only with more powerQuote:

This is why i hate fanboys, you overshadow good accomplishment with insane statements. He fights like Ali in terms that he stands up when throwing punches, but thats about it. For Christ's sake keep your cheerleading nonsense in a realistic frame of mind.Quote:

Yes you and 99 percent of everyone that picked Wladimer.Quote:

You can say that after Calzaghe Lacy.
If you picked Raheem against Morales you can say "I told you so."
If you picked Winky to beat Trinidad you can say "I told you so."
But "I told you so" means absolutely nothing when 99 percent of everyone including the guy who did the RBR picked Wladimer to win.
So "I told you so" means nothing.
You had better hope and pray that neither Wladimer or Calzaghe or Kessler loses, because if they do, as many that are annoyed with you now.... will be in your face on the same trip. So you should be very careful... ;)
Did you just compare him to Ali ???Quote:

the way he fights, he stays away, and i was more referring to how he just touches people with a jab so many times it starts to hurt them
good shtuff, good point :coolclick:Quote:
