Josh Warrington v Lee Selby
Is there a rivalry and is this a major spat?
Josh Warrington has rekindled his spat with IBF world featherweight champion Lee Selby over their proposed bout.
Warrington says he is "bored," of Selby, who he believes could lose his world title in his mandatory defence against American Eric Hunter.
Warrington defends his WBC International Featherweight title against Hisashi Amagasa at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on April 16.
"I really want the Selby fight, but it's boring me now," said Warrington.
Warrington has been linked with a summer contest against Selby, most likely to be at Leeds United's Elland Road ground.
Selby last fought in America on 15 October when he retained his title by beating Fernando Montiel in a scrappy contest having become Wales' 12th world champion by beating Evgeny Gradovich.
No date has been set for Selby's clash with Hunter, but it could be an undercard fight on the 9 April bill at London's O2 Arena, headlined by Anthony Joshua fighting for a world title.
Warrington feels Selby has been below his best since capturing the world title in May, 2015.
"Before he went to America to fight Montiel he wanted to crack the States and wasn't interested in me, but he boxed poorly against Montiel and now he is saying he will come to Leeds and chin me," Warrington said about his rival.
"It's becoming boring now. Hunter is a dangerous fight and if he (Selby) boxes like he did against Montiel he'll lose his belt.
"So let's keep winning, everyone wants the fight and it'd be a big occasion in Leeds."

Re: Josh Warrington v Lee Selby
Warrington has to get past Amagasa first. The Japanese beanpole has only lost to Rigo in the past six years, who he twice dumped on his arse.
Warrington is a powderpuff puncher. Amagasa has never been stopped (Rigo broke his face). Be a long night getting past those arms.
Re: Josh Warrington v Lee Selby
the people of leeds are hanging on to warrington as their big star, their own ricky hatton
I'm not sure it will end like they are hoping, he's decent but just not that good
Re: Josh Warrington v Lee Selby
Selby looks a different class to Warrington but doesn't have the following. Elland Road in front of Warrington's fans is about as lucrative a fight as Selby can get.
Re: Josh Warrington v Lee Selby
why do you think he hasn't got the fans, is it coz hes a taffy?

Selby has already said he's more than happy to fight him in Leeds, he knows that brings the money.
But that was before he teamed up with Haymon, so the goalposts have changed a bit.
I wouldn't mind seeing this , and I love watching Warrington and his fans are Mental. But I don't see what Selby has to gain. there's big fights out there for him , and with Haymon's backing , it means he doesn't need Team Warrington .

depends how much he gets paid
if he gets a million pounds for fighting warrington in leeds and 500000 for fighting a big name in America then he might have a lot to gain
unless its a case of having risking 1 sweet now for 2 sweets later
Re: Josh Warrington v Lee Selby
Can't see a bigger fight for Selby than Warrington. He fought in front of one man and a dog in America and is currently looking for an undercard slot, back on a Matchroom bill, for his mandatory against Eric Hunter.
Re: Josh Warrington v Lee Selby
I think Selby takes Warrington apart. I think Selby has his hands full with Hunter.
