Both like fighting in close quarters, guard up high. Busy 1st two rounds.

I like Alex Dilmaghani's style- str8 down the middle, but Ziani's looping shots are going around the high guard & landing effectively- the kind of shots that can bust ear drums! Very tough to score going into the 4th round.

Ziani is pressing forward and stealing rounds on sheer aggression, while Alex is accurate but not as busy.

After Ziani is warned for pressing forward with his head- Alex is bleeding under right eye- from a punch-6th round? I thought the ref was out of order at the end of the 5th for letting Ziani determine when to put his own mouthpiece in. Ref obliged, really?! LOL!

Ziani don't give a (F) he's throwing every which a way. Alex accuracy is giving in to this dude's constant pressure. Effective aggression= Ziani going into the championship rounds.

The ref is kinda fuckin' up. Dilmaghani just getting rocked around the whole ring ending the 11th round. Starting the 12th Dilmaghani got an armbar on Ziani, while Ziani is whacking him with the free hand- ref just ok with those tactics. Then Ziani deserved a KD -he threw a famliy 20 piece bucket special for Alex to munch on fell to the canvas holding on to Ziani's shoes. he got his shoe in a shoe-lock, never seen that before!;D Ref gave him at least 15 seconds to get up.

Beatin Alex all across the ring then flails into the ropes that kept him up. Any other ref but this one would've called it a standing 8.

WOW!:o:mad: This mofo is clinching Ziani the way a prom date would in the slow-dance...and the ref not only broke it up after several seconds he warns him with a 5 second explanation...damn!

I had to rewind that- about 1mn left he breaks the clinch- called a timeout to explain, not to deduct a point:mad: allows the fight to continue at 49 seconds...damn, 11 second rest?:o

Finally- credited with a KD as Dilmaghani head is between ropes like he is in a guillotine at 33 seconds left- 20 seconds left, now the ref says walk to him- dude looking around...they didnt let AJ do that! resumes at 17 sec left- Ziani beatin this boy to the canvas again!!
Ref does a Richard Steele and stops it with a few seconds left.

Great fight, horrible friggin ref.

Totally agree slim. Ref sucked. Also couldve given a KD on the one where Dilmaghani fell into the ropes, but just continued the action. Great fight but def the ref was weird as a box of balloons.
