I've bought both his last two books and havn't done a single recipe yet. I aslo bought a £60 steamer and a £90 set of electronic scales that calculates the nutritional value of all the food you weigh.
I mean well but I still havn't used any of it yet, apart from the scales to weigh some parcels I sent via paypal ::** ;D

Never was a top chef, a total media product. His so called restaurants are no more than a deli.

Marco Pierre White is cool. I loved his speech at Cambridge or Oxford. A proper rags to riches story and someone who has worked very hard and had a little bit of luck along the way. He is also quite unpretentious about food which I like. I like that he admits a lot of it is bollocks and just about enjoying food in a nice atmosphere. You can apply the same to a lot of things. We like to dress it up, but it is still just a dress to be worn.Quote:
