What an achievement man. I started off puffing at 2 miles and then started breezing at 4 and then 6 and now I'm going to 8 full miles of jogging. It got better as I got my breathing corrected and took the inhaler for my asthma as well as lost a few pounds.
I see the route. Mentally it is doable.
No less than 4 miles I run daily now. Gatta be 4 miles just to keep the standard.

Listen to good upbeat music and time will go fast.
Enjoy the run and you will keep yourself motivated.
When you get really into it you can time the runs but only do that when you are really fit.
This pisses me off I love hiking but it’s -16 right now can’t do anything

I made it to 8 miles. It was a matter over the mind because once you see the route you can get it done. I am going to try for 10 soon, because the 10 is just an extra jog around the block from my regular run- a route I know too well.
I went frorm huffing and puffing through 2 miles to now contemplating- SERIOUSLY- about a 10 mile run. All this time I had asthma blocking my breathing and was not aware all I needed was an inhaler. So much sport I missed out on when I was a kid... inhaler and quit the dairy products. :eek:
