Loma - If you are a Floyd Fan Because of His Boxing Style, Are You a Loma Fan?

In other words, are the fans of Floyd, fans of Loma? Take away their out of the ring antics, I wonder if Floyd fans are also fans of Loma because each uses a boxer, counter-punching style. I would assume so.

I am because he adds something Floyd stropped doing when he left the 130/35 area. He seeks to destroy and takes everything away while doing so.

Floyd was DEFINITELY an ATG and I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but I think Loma is better than Floyd was at the same point of his career and while he won't retire undefeated, will be better than Floyd due to his mentality and punch. Loma is able to shut down the other guy's offense and also possesses the punch/mindset to stop the other guy in brutal fashion.

Loma is a great fighter but I have to wait until I see more of him to consider him a future ATG. He is definitely looking like he will be but we will have to wait and see.

Let Loma fight another 3-5 years first.

I like that he fights with a chip on his shoulder and maximises his offence aka damage off a close tight defence at every opportunity. Floyd got to the point where a superior defence was just to extend a lead. Right now he's beating up who he is supposed to beat up and I'll put the goat and great talk aside until he does some time and depth.

Good question. Flomos love boxing skill, Floyd's money and bling and cars and wealth has nothing to do with it.

I more meant if you are a fan of Floyd, are you a fan of Loma? I'm not suggest Loma will have the same level of career as Floyd, but I wonder if they share the same fan base. It would seem that they would in light of their boxing style, but Floyd is a brash American and Loma is a softer-spoken Ukranian.

Loma needs rivalry, without it he may end up like Pernell Whitaker

I am not a fan of Floyd as he is a complete wanker but I love Loma's boxing style and skill.

To answer your question, yes, I do think that Loma will have those fans. Many fans love watching great boxing. If Loma keeps improving I see him acquiring more fans because people will enjoy watching greatness in the ring.

I like watching both fight. I'll become a fan when Loma starts making the best fights. I don't care about the willing/not willing debates. I care about the fights that are actually made.
