Josh Warrington v Kiko Martinez 13 MAY
So this probably why Fury mentioned the 13 May as a possible comeback date. Warrington brings a decent following, though nothing like that of Hatton as Frank is suggesting, but a decent fight nonetheless with Adams making here hometown Pro showing, after debuting on the 8 April.

Re: Josh Warrington v Kiko Martinez 13 MAY
This should be interesting. Martinez always turns up to fight although I think he's well down the other side of the slope at this stage. A good experience fight for Warrington. He should get some decent rounds against an aggressive former belt holder.
Re: Josh Warrington v Kiko Martinez 13 MAY
Kiko is good enough to pull an upset as at his best he was better than Josh would ever be but could be past it now.

Martinez is well past it now. In saying that Hasegawa had one final resurgence. 122 was his best weight and Warrington's young and style will be the deciding factors in this one.

Warrington doesn't hit hard enough to be a big star does he
funny coz he's ripped
Re: Josh Warrington v Kiko Martinez 13 MAY
Good fight for Warrington this is, do we know where it is being fought?
Warrington will never be a superstar but he's a good little fighter, I hope he does well.

Some muscle fighters like Bradley just can not hit hard but people like Tito who looked frail was a huge puncher.

Yeah funny how some string bean guys like Hearns or Foster can hit like a mule. They just get that leverage.

yeah you cant tell how hard a fighter hits from his physique
at the same time tho, Josh doesn't seem to hit hard at all and he puts a lot in to his punches
and with a physique like that youd expect him to hit harder than he does

Josh will fight most if not all his fights at home as he has huge support. The atmosphere seems like a darts match.

That's a good thing tho for the time being. He will have to travel sooner or later tho.
Re: Josh Warrington v Kiko Martinez 13 MAY
Warrington is like Mayweather
wanna know why? ill tell ya
Mayweather made is big in a time where there were no other americans around, he really was the only American elite level fighter, didn't matter that his fighting style was dull, he gave the americans something to shout about in the only truly global sport that the country plays, right place at the right time
And Leeds really don't have anything to shout about on the sporting side nowadays, the football team has been struggling for years and the rest of Yorkshire are getting more note than its "capital" in other sporting areas, so Josh Warrington is really the only sporting success out of leeds at the minute, and hes not doing badly out of it, right place at the right time

The Americans are very fussy about who they throw money at, whereas the Brits aren't.
For example, do you honestly believe Haye v Bellew would've been very interesting to the Yanks?
Please don't patronise me as an Englishman , that I thought Haye v Bellew was anything more than a freak show.
Glass jawed fat CW beats former HW belt holder in a bore fest. It was what it was.
