Based on this market its safe to say that neither punchers handlers want them to meet until they have milked whats out and about.
Stevenson himself gives the impression that he'll fight anyone, whether his handlers will let him is another story all together

I wouldn't be amazed if Stevenson went to Showtime and ended up fighting Hopkins and other Haymon guys like Shumenov. Don't GBP have a couple of beatable light heavies too, Erdei is GBP now right? Haymon will definitely be holding this over HBO's head in any negotiations with them at the very least.
Kovalev is the better fighter, I hope they do fight soon and not wait until it is too late.
After his win over Bellew, when pressed on the Kovalev fight, he appeared reticent to face him then. I could see Stevenson avoiding Kovalev and moving to Showtime.
@Spicoli, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer and his command of the English language leaves a lot to be desired because as you know living in Quebec you never have to use it. I was embarrassed as a Canadian in Pascals last post fight black power speech. Even Roy looked gob smacked.
@Rantcatrat, its pretty slim pickings out there for the parasites involved. It could very well be a career ending fight for one of them. Historically, big punchers like this are not matched to soon, if at all. I've wanted Maidana/Matthysse for several years and still do.
