The Shane Mosley Supporters thread
I am looking forward to tomorrows (todays for everyone else) fight a lot. It has all the potential to be a really fantastic event. But the thing I would like most of all is for Mosley to either outwork or stop Floyd. Mosley is getting on a bit now, but every great fighter has it in them to shine one more time. Just maybe this is Mosley's big moment and he will deliver.
Come on Shane!
Re: The Shane Mosley thread
Damn, I was supposed to call it the Shane Mosley supporters thread, but was in too much of a hurry. The current title seems a bit gay, so sorry about that. But regardless, let's hope the bald, stuttering tax avoider gets buggered good and proper. Nothing could make me happier than to see Floyd humbled in a post fight interview.
Mosley top of the PFP rankings once again and after proving himself clean would be really good to see too. I like Mosley, seems like a nice enough chap.
Re: The Shane Mosley thread
Come on Shane !!! shut Mayweather's mouth for all of us.
Re: The Shane Mosley thread
Shane has to find the form of 10 years ago when he beat ODH the first time. Either way he will take Floyd to the uncomfortable zone and I want to see if he can take it. I hope Floyd wilts and Shane comes out on top.
Re: The Shane Mosley thread
This is going to be the shane mosley comiseration thread tomorrow.
Re: The Shane Mosley thread
Mayweather struggled against Oscar while he was using his jab and then Oscar dropped the jab, we know the rest of the history. Shane is faster than Oscar, has normally a good double jab and will be more or less 8-10 pounds bigger than Floyd. If he can be busy enough with his longer reach and his jab, I could imagine him pulling the upset, if he respects all the conditions of course. Anyway, if we're as good as our last fight, Shane looked tremendous against Margarito and no excuses should be made would he lose to Floyd.

I think he can beat Floyd with less than that. Mosley has had his share of decent performances since and is older, but Floyd hasn't proven himself against a 'top' welterweight since the mighty Baldomir.
Mosley on the form that took Oscar first time out will take Floyd to the cleaners. Floyd has never faced anything like that at a higher weight.

Potentially, but that is boxing. Things do happen and favourites often win, but sometimes they don't. Mosley is a bloody good boxer and you can't deny that he has fought anyone and everybody. Floyd hasn't and on that basis alone, he has a vast potential to lose. Maybe it happens and maybe not, but this is a pro Mosley thread, so bugger off with your negativity.

Shanes jab isnt as stiff as Oscars. Mosley throws it as a range finder to set up his right hand or power left hook.
A good jab is important in every fight but you would have thought it would be a key weapon that Nazim has employed in his strategy. Zab had a quick jab that Floyd couldnt see coming. He had to abandon his usual defence and use an Arthur Abraham style high guard for the rest of the fight to avoid getting hit. We wil know Floyds out of his comfort zone tonight if he changes his guard
Re: The Shane Mosley thread
I'm rooting for shane. How can u not like the man, it would be a great story if he was to beat mayweather then go on to beat pacman. I hope he achieves this. I think he can do it.it ain't gonna be easy tho.
As for the fight tonight, I think manny steward said it best, "floyd is gonna shine and show his greatness or he will get dominated, there will be no in between". I'm hoping for the latter,it's not cause I hate floyd, it's just that I love sugar shane. It should be a magical night whatever the outcome.
Job biscuit (all knowing, and all powerful, can read ur mind and ur soul )
Re: The Shane Mosley thread
this is what the board needs. cause all i see is floyd this, floyd that...
i hope shane schools floyd but i think what happens is totally the opposite.
can't sleep... hope i wake up in the morning
Re: The Shane Mosley thread
Exactly, how can you not root for Mosley in a fight like this?
Floyd Mayweather supporters are either there with betting ticket in hand or else souls sold up the spire.
Nobody wants him to win.
