Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
Smackdown points there. Like I said like you said, same thing really. kov will over reach, Canelo will counter hard left to vodka drinker 36 years liver. I said kov has looped shots like you said too, and rewatching the Yarde fight I saw kov missing tons of overhand rights and lead-off rights. Perfect for Canelo s left to the liver. Still I m praying for Kov to reach down one magic time again, and deliver the goods.
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
If Kovalev can actually stayed disciplined during training camp and during the fight, I think it should be an easy victory. The problem is that I don’t see that. He just came off a fight not long ago where he was almost stopped. Also, I’m going to guess that this big payday is more of a hinderance than a help. I think he won’t care so much about the fight as much as just being happy to get the paycheck.
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
yea he seems to get sloppy and lose focus at 36, his heart may not be in the game now look. He has to whip himself into the best shape ever to fight the young Canelo with less recovery time. He shouldn't train too hard or overtraining at 36 is a death sentence.
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
I really like Kov under McGirt, definitely strengthens his chances of victory for me.

Let’s hope. It is strange that just about everybody that I see is picking Canelo to win. Basically everyone knows that Canelo is a good body puncher and that Kovalev is very weak to the body.
I said it before but if Kovalev can stick to his jab, which is a very good jab, I think that he should be able to easily outbox Canelo. Let the knockout come but don’t go for it. Canelo is a lot shorter than Kovalev so he should be able to keep him on the outside fairly easily. But Kovalev’s worst enemy is himself.
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
Kov is suseptible to Mexico left hook on liver. Kov throws that's lazy leadoff right and whole side of Kov is open for such Mexico liver hooks. Vodka liver get hooking from Canello = Kov gets knocking the fuck out!
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
Kovalev will have been hit harder to the body than by Canelo who fights in spurts. If anything that laziness will be good for Kovalev. A single body shot from a man who couldn't stop countless others with one is unlikely for me. People are too taken with the Ward penile assault.
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
C a n n e l l is short and compact and he can that things deliver short compact Mexico left hook to 37 year old man liver

Yes. It's all been coldly calculated to happen. Another brilliant and skillful pick by the computer.

Cannello is slick like a snake. He will grease himselves up and quickness, youth, versus to old man Kov, I think Cannello can duck quick down to his left, step forward quick with his left foot, and Mexico hook to 37 year old vodka liver.
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
Grease himsleves up? ;D
It is true that the Golden goose is tragically underrated but I don't think even Oscar would try and squeeze some Paxo up his Cinnamon rum
Points to Canelo

Himself. I made that spelling maistake of "himsleves". And you have said a funny thing about Cinnamon rum ! :rocks:
I shoulder explain what I mean by grease-up himselfs. I mean somefighter like Waldimir Klitschok uses grease or you can call that's Vaseline. We do remember about that Lemon Brewer fight when Wald has greased-up his body and then what's that happened that HE could not to perspire, and he over-heat and gas-out and he then was crawl across on those knees to the canvas and got stopped by referee. So Canello may grease-up for those opposite raison, what is to slick and slip past the Kov punches of Krusher, the punches may slide off Cannello.
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
I originally got Kov at 5/1, and am actually starting to feel this could be easy money.
Re: In what round will Canelo stop Kovalev?
Had anyone else heard about a 185 rehydration clause for this fight? @TitoFan will love this.

You guessed correctly. ;D
Here's a link. https://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-41083295-4
"Canelo vs. Kovalev has rehydration clause in contract"
I don't love it, but fully expected it. In fact, I was surprised something like that hadn't come up to this point. After all..... what's a Canelo fight without some kind of weight-related clause stacking the odds in his favor? ;) ;)
Which is why I stand by my opinion that Canelo is one of the most, if not THE most handfed, coddled, overrated, pre-anointed fighter in the history of the sport.
The Franchise Champion tag was created specifically for Canelo. What other fighter can claim an "honor" like that?
So that's right. Hobble the already ripe-for-the-picking Kovalev (the poor fool) by putting a shackle on how weight he can regain.
If I was Kov I'd say fuck it..... show up at whatever weight I want..... and knock Canelo's ginger locks off his shoulders.
