Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Awesome rematch of a terrific fight the first time around. Whole card has gone under the radar for some reason but its a solid triple header tonight. Great to see Wangek back in the States headlining at the Forum.
Daniel Roman 26-2-1 fights 21-0 TJ Doheny with two Spr Bantamweight belts a stake in the co main. Also Jessie Vargas 28-2-2 takes on the ever present 69-9-2 Humbert Soto who comes in fresh off boxing the snot out of Rios and for that let us stand and applaud ;D. Seriously though hope he fixed that hair :-X. Solid card looking forward to it!

Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Fyi Dazn is putting the screw job to some customers claiming e mails sent that there are no records of. Not the best business minds geared towards customer retention if ya ask me and they're looking for excuses to get out of 'Grandfathering' in existing customers. Anyway...missed a good one by the highlights of it. Emmanuel Taylor apparently gave Shakhram Wonder Boy Giyasov all he could handle and had him hurt multiple times only to settle on a poorly scored 99-91 x2 and 97-93 wide loss. Need to see the replay.

Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Vaughn Alexander..Devons brother..comes to the ring in some S&M mask ???. Todd Grisham says he and Devon probably had to fight over the last piece of chicken :vd:. He's taking on 18-0 Anthony Sims Jr back at 168.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Sims Jr steady working the jab short to long with very solid speed. Alexander rugged and has landed a couple wide right hands on the back of his head. And a low blow near rounds end.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Tough 3rd Sims Jr bringing in rights to body. Alexander gets in his own clean left and right hook and than lands huge right on the back of his head..again. Sims Jr looked like he stumbled from it and the ref warns Alexander but for a low blow?? Odd.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Huge right hands rocks Sims Jr at end of 4th. Sims is a talent but something seems a bit soft, can't quite place it. A very active fighter though and solid movement. Maybe it's the trunks or the hair but reminds of an early Anthony Hembrick
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Ref gives "2nd warning" for behind the head but in actuality it's about the 6th or 7th :-X
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Sims Jr looks off balance going back to corner there.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Sims stays on the ropes all of 6th and takes a few legit big right hands. He has yet to deter or move Alexander. He's pawing his nose a lot and looks a bit unsure, best round for Alexander so far.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Sims on his bike whole of 7th and uses entire ring. Very busy hands just not much on them it looks. Alexander a step behind there. Ref sounds like a cheerleader telling them great fight, it's awesome, great fight before start of every round???. That's weird.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Ref gives warning #29'ish to Alexander.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Levels starting to show in late rounds with Sims constant motion and solid speed. Best bet for Alexander to get him flat footed but he's chasing shadows mostly.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Hunting and pecking mode for Sims in 9th and 10th really just looking to time out the round. Alexander throws a shot from the parking lot and hits nothing but air. Not sure about Sims Jr, very solid skill set but juuust a bit reluctant to engage and prone to right hands. No brainer on the cards with Alexander clearly winning just the 1

Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Soto and Vargas coming to the ring. Might be in and out on this one and just enjoy it. Not like rbrs are what they once were with streaming :p. Really like to see Soto log his 70th win here!
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Bad cut on vargas, fromaheadbut, I'm hoping for a draw in this fight.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Good third with solid exchanges. Cut on Vargas needs duct tape. Vargas inside punching beating long rights of Soto but both trying to one up the other in constant exchanges. Kenny talking about Vargas fighting Jarrett Hurd sounds like silly talk.

:S
I think the longer it goes the better it is for vargas, Soto is great fun, and Is having some good success but surely he's going to slow down a bit and vargas will Ave him.
Soto is great to watch though.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Hard way for a long vet to go out. Vargas turned up the power impressively drops Soto twice and gets ref stoppage in 6th. Two classy dudes.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
I'm picking estrada to beat sor rungvisai today, so rungvisai is pretty good but I think his size makes the biggest difference and guys aren't expecting the power he has on everything... Estrada to adjust to this and sort him out... Big Wang is great fun though so it'd be nice if he wins.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Stop early. But safe old Soto. Nice right punch Vargas
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Roman vs Doheny is a good fight. Close rounds so far but round 7 Doheny had his way
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Oh nice, I'm amazed Roman wasn't stopped there, he's a tough git, the paddy paced himself great too and kept up the assault the whole round... Roman took aot of damage there but he did have some good punches near the end. Roman is lucky he was pushed down too otherwise he'd have a real knock down shortly after that.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Doheny is landing the bigger shots overall, but Roman is dictating the pace better. I feel like the commentators are more pro Doheny. I think Roman is doing is doing better than they are saying
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Man, both of these fighters are tough. Doheny almost went down that round.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
This is Avery fun fight, Roman really does t have a good defence or fight that smart at all but he is doing some damage whilst taking damage... Good round for Roman in whatever round that was, I think nine. Really good to watch.
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Paddy nearly down middle of the tenth too, Roman is having some good success with the body shots. He had lep holding himself up on him there.

The dazn fellows seem to get carried away with the performances of betting underdogs in fights like this. Mannix especially.. And sergio Mora is just sergio Mora of course :S...
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Oh that was a hellacious shot to the body. Give these two a bonus missed early but a helluva scrap. Roman well to adjust

His assault on the body has saved him here, he nearly put the paddy down with a jab to the body :S

Ironically today the wbc denied Dennis Hogan a rematch after smacking their Munguia around for the L ;D.

Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Great fight. Roman came on strong at the end. Along with the two knockdowns, I don’t see how Doheny could get the decision.
-

Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Great fight, I really think Roman should have won that easier though, he let himself get hit far too much.
Well if Roman has won at a of course
-
Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
I don’t like the draw scorecard. The commentators act as if it’s a fair score but I don’t see Doheny winning more rounds than Roman.

Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Class guys once again. Boxers must work their mic skills as much as the pads these day because I'd buy a house from Doheny ;D.

It's pretty much impossible not to like the git after his post fight interview.. Really nice post fight interviews from both of em

Re: Wangek v Estrada II on DAZN
Top notch gauging of distance and boxer-punching by Estrada. Wanger is going to have to sit inside of that to make his mark or get tore up.
