He was one of the first guys who actually got me into boxing, I remember seeing him a couple of times on ESPN as a teenager and thinking what a badass, and what fun. Just rewatched his fight with Mickey Ward as it's awesome(although a joke of a decision imo), wondering if anyone knows anything about his condition now? Take it he made it through the shooting, but all I can find about him now is that he is currently homeless:-\. Can he speak, walk etc?

Fans could even start a Kickstarter for him to receive medical help and aid with his living expenses.
Recently something similar was done for former MMA Champion Mark Coleman and it has worked out for him.
Floyd could use some good PR at the moment and he should help the man out rather than waste it on cars and betting.
Just ran across this local update, guy cannot catch a break! Has apparently recovered from bullet and coma but has balance problems and slurred speech :-\. On top of the D.A has dropped charges against suspect ffs!
