If you're in the pros. the fights last longer; you have more rounds, more minutes within rounds, etc. I'm sure pros have longer to train, too.
Amateurs wear headgear, fight over shorter distance, wear a vest, amateur bouts scored on punches landed only, different gloves, they have a white knuckle area which indicates if the punch was good or not, amateurs dont get paid (technically).
There are more differences but those are the glaringly obvious ones.
in amature you got to wear a cap on your head
to avoid your face to get f*cked up, (thoug it does not help mutch against the shockes your brain)
you start fighting 3x2 min bout and as you win more bouts you get higher and end up doing 3x3min bouts.
You get paid in pro. And if your Pro you cant participate in the olymics.
