Well played old timer.
The sentace for the attacker is pathetic, he'll probably be out in 18 months.
Re: 72 Year old retired boxer beats up burglar
Do not mess with a boxer no matter how old.
Re: 72 Year old retired boxer beats up burglar
Exactly. Once a boxer, always a boxer no matter the age. Regular Joes can't beat that.

El Kabong and VC would have shot him.

Do they live together in a manly platonic way like Eric and Ernie then?
That would be the reason why they would shoot because they do not want anyone to know.

That's actually a portrait that VC and Lyle commissioned to commemorate their recent marriage. Lyle's the one with the pointy head.

The "old timers" never lose their PUNCH!
It reminds of the time two punks tried to rob Jack Dempsey when Jack was an older man. They were near Jacks eatery in New York City! When the cops arrived one fellow was quiet and very still on the curb (KO'd) the other ran off after seeing his buddy get ko'd by the "old man"! Imagine picking on a senior citizen named Dempsey? HA!! Ray.

The other day I was re-reading a chapter about Jack 'kid' Berg, from Jonathan Rendall's brilliant book "This Bloody Mary," and how even in his 70s Jack rolled onto the balls of his feet when sensing trouble. Fantastic stuff.

At 70 you would not pick on Jack, there was something in your water, that told you its a No/ No ;D
