Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Another under the radar card tonight. 22-1 Lubin has done well to string a winning streak together after Charlo left him in a heap 3 years ago and is set to pick up a trinket by beating Gausha. Hope Lubin brings his aggression and pop because Gausha almost put me to sleep in his last fight ;D. Undercard has King Tug back fighting one 15-0 Cobia Breedy. Top talent Jaron Ennis 25-0 fights Juan Carlos Abreu..jebus is he still at it..in the third fight on the card.

Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Didn't realize Abreu blew weight by 3 lbs and now they're at 151. Hope Ennis knocks him out, Abreu just trying to find any possible advantage.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Ennis def one who loves the flash and keeps the hands low or open. Headbutt end of round from Abreu and Ennis checks his left eye. Abreu looks well above 151.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Slight swelling on cheekbone of Ennis. Beating Abreu to the punch every time. Not big on the herky jerky wanna be Jones Jr approach but Ennis showing solid jab upstairs and downstairs.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Abreu rocked in 3rd and his left eye is lumpy. If Ennis triples these combos up Abreu has the body language of a guy who will find his stool real comfortable in a few rounds.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Abreu back on the front foot in 4th but getting strafed in spots. Roughing Ennis up more with shoulders elbows and head more that punches so far.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Ennis turning it up in 5th jarring Abreu and lands hard on the beltline, Abreu looks for a time out and ref says keep fighting. In turn Abreu hits Ennis in his Ennis Jr and both warned. Ennis walking in behind high shoulder guard and landing left hooks..and down he goes. Abreu flat and up at 8! Abreu not long for this. Beautiful inside right uppercut counter got the KD, very fluid
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Ennis scores another KD and Abreu up wobbly..ohh Ennis beating the crap outta the fella as ref steps it to call a halt to it. Solid finisher is Ennis

Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Other than resembling a distant cousin of Tim Bradley I know nothing of Breedy. Hope he packed a lunch and looks more than willing at start.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Minimal from Tug but clocks Breedy with a clean hard right to make him aware. Breedy tightly wound, ohh gets caught at rounds end with same right and goes down. Was having decent round until then but King Tug takes it back.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Levels. Levels cannot be overstated. Breedy down again, Tug very calm and very accurate with punch placement. Breedy working his movement but bit weary now looking to make the round. Be interested to see if Tug goes harder or plays it cool this early
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Scratch n sniff round by Breedy just to right the ship in 3rd. Still letting the hands go but still with the holes for Tug to counter. Tug can't coast
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Breedy is definitely game. Those 2 knockdowns were unfortunate but he is looking decent in there.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Gave Breedy 4th. Nothing pretty but scrappy volume. One combination from Tug just don't cut it but think he's just trying to run him into a punch.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Breedy is a rough customer. Bull rushes Tug and Tug looks to corner...headbutt in close and Breedy working a spastic jab. Like to see Breedy just relax, tons of nervous energy but hey..he may have just nicked another round.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Evening guys.
Caught the Breedy fight middle of 1st round.
Entertaining scrap.
Not familiar with either of these... but Breedy's got a lot of catching up to do after two KD's in the first two rounds.
Good exchanges... but Breedy seems hurt more than the other guy by the punches.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Both guys easing up in 6th with Tug coming forward. Tug def looking for short counter straight right. Breedy feet moving more than his hands in 6th for the most part. Tug looks to punch in between late exchange. Close to Tug that round but both are in need of some consistency
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Oh cool now Breedy has added sound effects to his flicking shots. Scrappy guy but feels like he's trying to bluff his way through deeper this goes. Tug needs to kick in the door
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Breedy hanging his mouth open and would do well to keep that tongue in it. Good exchange last minute as Breedy falls back and sponges a left. Tug round but he's a frustrating sort because you can see damage done when he does let them go. Gave Breedy 4 and 5th. Ref having him checked out
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Like a mini even less busy Bivol :-X
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
A few quality combos from Tug last minute of 9th. For a last minute sub Breedys phone will be blowing up for opportunities. Close 9th but go substance over style Tug
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Breedys eye just got mashed blood flowing and wings left hook that lands. Tug landing some sapping punches in combo now but gets clipped a few too. Nothing powerful or backing Tug off but may catch a judges eye. No excuses for Tug he needs to mash the gas for a guy ranked #1. Stop farking around
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Gave Breedy 11th on massive balls and busting Tugs nose.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
I have it a bit closer than Farhood..... but somebody needs to light a fire under Nyambayar's ass.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Should have been a total rebound for Tug but he settled and honestly went through the motion. Have him clear winner maybe 8-4 round wise and 2 KDS but hate to see a guy ease off for little reason. Full credit to Breedy staying strong and frankly showing more fire in the belly, but Tug was landing the effective hardware.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Ohhh boy. 115-111 Breedy..with 2 kds. 114-112 Tug..114-113 Tug by split call.
Tug and corner need new shorts after that reading.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Split decision for Tug seems fair, giving due credit for Breedy's all-out effort in trying to come back.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
"Nothing to see here" 1st round between Lubin and Gausha.

;D accurate. Got stuck making a BLT. They keep this up I'm making another. Gausha just has that pedestrian ho hum ohh look a penny style.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Three rounds in the books and Gausha has landed maybe 5 punches.
Snoozefest so far.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
It is telling. All the talk of Charlo ppv coming up and set to unify all belts. Here's the guy he starched..same network and promotion but little push for easily made rematch.
Best advise from Cunningham...don't be lulled to sleep with that bullshit ;D
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
4th to Gausha. Maybe. Even the corner of Gausha whispers ;D. Someone open a bottle and start this fight already

BLT sounds good. ;D

Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Hey Lubin woke up in 8th. We have a fight punches being thrown! Gausha getting a right in midway. I miss Paulie on this announce team..big time. Abner Mares is a nice enough guy but he calls fights like a nervous dude awkwardly asking a waitress for her #.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
:o Ohhh Lubin rocked! Give it give it.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Gausha had him badly hurt in 10th and took 11th. Not a good look for Lubin going into final round.
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
Too little too late. But at least Gausha can say "I rocked him."
-
Re: Erickson Lubin v Terrell Gausha on Showtime
It was an alright fight. A few years back, I was pretty high on Lubin. I definitely think he can eventually win a title and I think he will, but I don’t know if his chin will be good enough to him to dominate a division.
