I think Russell had been pegged as one of the guys with the most pro potential on the squad it will be interesting to see him get a start on his pro career.

Is his fight going to be televised?
He's going to be really good, so will Allan, but watch their youngest brother in boxing named Antuanne, IMO he is the best of the bunch.
He is 12 right now, and just watch

Russell looked really good.
One thing that worries me, and really reminds me of Zab Judah is that he seems quite flat footed, that really hurt Zab defensively, and from what I've watched of him in the amateurs it seems Gary Jr. isn't as light on his feet as you might expect from a guy as quick as him.
I also notice that Reyes landed a few punches that he shouldn't have, I mean Gary being that much faster should never be hit in ernest by Reyes, but he was a couple of times, and against better guys that will really be a problem. I mean people were talking about Gamboa's defensive lapses, but he wasn't being hit at all in his first few fights.
Take your pick with the Russells. Antonio won the PAL and Ringside this year and probably should have won the Silvers, but he didn't get out of the regionals thanks to the decision below. He is only 15. . .and they have two more coming up besides Antuanne, Allan and Antonio.

I thought he looked pretty good. Impressive hand speed. His teammate Sadam Ali makes his debute tonight. He's another talented one
