This happened to a mate of mine when he was a lad going through his joiner's apprenticeship.
It was Monday morning and he'd been out partying at the resurection (all-night rave) at the weekend. He decided he couldn't be bothered going to work because he was still a bit ropey and his head was still spangled from all the nonsense at the weekend.
Looking gaunt and pale he told his mum he wasn't feeling well and he was pulling a sicky and got her to phone his work.
He goes back to bed, lies there - cannae sleep. Idle hands and all that....
..So he's giving the bishop a right doing...... strong fast lad did a bit of boxing used to sawing and all that............he's on the third lap - tight stomach, ninja face, straight legs, calf cramps......the lot.
He finally finishes knackered and sweaty- opens his eyes and sees a piping hot freshly brewed cup of tea on his bedside cabinet. :o
