"Tom Brady retiring after 22 seasons, seven Super Bowl wins with New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, sources say"
With all due respect to Michael Jordan, Jack Nicklaus, Lionel Messi and/or Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Gretsky, and Roger Federer.... Mr. Tom Brady is the GOAT of the GOATS.
He'll be missed.

Not just winning... but breaking NFL records at age 44. The guy's a legend and I feel privileged to have seen him play.
Re: The GOAT of GOATS has retired
In men's tennis we have the ongoing debate between Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic as to who's the GOAT.
In basketball you have the same debate between Jordan, James, and Bryant fans. (Although to be fair... it's clear cut that Jordan is still the GOAT).
In soccer it's all between Pelé, Messi, and Ronaldo (there's always three involved ;D ).
But in the NFL there is no question about it.
Tom Brady has officially retired as the UNDISPUTED, UNCONTESTED, PRACTICALLY UNANIMOUS G.O.A.T. in the sport.
In fact... I'd venture to say Tom Brady is the GOAT of all GOATS.
Such has been his dominance in professional football over the last 22 years.

Without digging up his many records, I can tell you he leads the league in career passing yards, passing touchdowns, and every other passing category you can think of.
He retired at age 44, older than many other head coaches, let alone active players.
His final game was a furious comeback from a 27-3 deficit to a 27-27 tie, only to have the defense allow a long completion to put the opposing team in field goal range, which they promptly kicked to win the game in the final seconds. This game, by the way, was an NFL Divisional playoff game.
Brady led his team to the playoffs this year with a slew of injuries to key players on both offense and defense. This while playing at MVP level. In fact he'll either finish 1st or 2nd in this year's MVP voting.
His durability in a sport such as American football is unprecedented by light-years. Twenty years with the New England Patriots (6 Super Bowl wins), and two with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1 Super Bowl win).
His total of 7 Super Bowl wins is more than any franchise (team) in the NFL.
I don't think we'll see another Tom Brady.

If I heard right, I don't even think 24 hours went by between the half million dollars and Brady announcing he was coming back. That poor bastard must be getting drunk on a daily basis. :alcoholic:
