Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
Very happy that Joshua has won. He didn't look good doing it. Still a lot of questions. Joshua shown real heart out there. That's always a plus. Still a far cry from Lennox Lewis's skill and power but he's still young and learning. He needs to stay busy and keep his head straight.
Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
I am very sad... Wladimir has been my favourite for so long.. :S Losing again and seeing that it is finally the end is quite upsetting but I guess it is a good way for him to go out, puts up a good fight gets knocked down, then knocks the other guy down next round at the age of 41 and 21 years after turning pro is quite impressive... 7 of wladimirs last 8 opponents were/still are undefeated.. Good job to the old git wladimir but it is time for him to go now... I will now drink all my cans of pabst in mourning.
Joshua has proved himself to be a worthy champ too and is the man to beat in my opinion, hopefully he gets fury and wilder in the ring at some time.

Rematch!
No need that's as good as klit can hope to do these days n only getting older...yea foreman won a title at 46 but his style wasn't based on being of limber feet for 12. I say klit goes out on that loss with head held high nothing to be ashamed of.
It is in the contract
I know they signed a 2 fight deal but I am just saying that in my humble opinion kltischko should walk away on this fight, he isn't going to do any better in a rematch I don't think...and also probably took more damage in this fight than last 10 years, but you're right they probably will do a rematch based on demand and money since this was a cracking fight
I don't think Wlad will want it again, that must have took an absolute load out of him, the geeza will be 42 by the time of the next fight, AJ will just get better whilst Wlad will be running away from father time.
He's not stupid either, I just can't see him signing up for it.
Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
Fully agrered @Batman but money makes us do stupid shit but yeah I hope he's smart enough to walk out on what was a very good performance despite the loss...no shame in losing to the young lion he wasn't the first old champ nor will he be the last...hell AJ probably has the same fate in 15 years...

HA Fury's tweet to AJ
wellldone @anthonyfjoshua good fight, you had life & death with @klitschko & I played with the guy, lets dance
Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
That might end up being AJs hardest fight akin to Calzaghe vs Eubank
Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
Eddie will line up a couple of easy defences now for AJ. His heart will not survive a rematch fight or Wilder.

also pabst is best value for money when considering the quality to cost ratio(being from scotland that is the most important aspect).... old milwaukee is cheaper but it is also Beelzebubs bath water just foul.

Even you must be impressed with Wlad, he was put down and then knocked down AJ and would have won the fight if he was allowed to box the last 2 rounds.
Re: Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko - 29/4/17 Wembley Stadium
Cracking fight, and there's no doubt that Joshua showed his quality at world level right there. I genuinely wasn't sure about his stamina down the stretch, and in 7-9 he really looked gassed, but he came out swinging and managed to land that sensational uppercut.
@elkabong - I know I said that Klitschko couldn't win down the stretch, but I can confirm I was wrong, he had Joshua in trouble around the mid rounds. Great fight though, and no doubt Wlad gave his all, and could have won with a little more.
