The Vomit Comet.

My wife has just booked to go on this thing GOZERO-G ( the vomit comet ) its on the 21st of September going from Las Vegas airport.
She has always had an interest in astronomy and I guess is a would be astronaut, looks like you would have to be mad to do it.
I wondered if anyone here has heard of it or knows someone who has done it, ive seen it on tv I think professor Brian Cox did it as part of his series.
I will go for the briefing however I will sit happily at the bar with my feet firmly on the ground. :)

Sounds a bit mental, my Mrs and the kids would love it but not for me. I don't mind speed, used to love motorbikes but then you are in control. Not so keen on rides even safely controlled ones like this.

No we go in September to Vegas / Mesquite , she is super excited but I am happy to keep my feet at the bar.

Hey @Dark Lord Al do you know if your partner can take a video camera to film it? Or will they give her a recording?

If so, does she have long hair?

Hopefully she does, if she can get a recording, tell her to leave her hair down. Watch it later on and compare how hair naturally reacts in zero G and compare it to the female actornots fake hair sprayed on the ISS.
