Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora - 31/10/20 - Sky Sports PPV
Usyk finally in with a seasoned full blown Heavyweight, on paper Usyk gives Del boy a lesson but anything can happen if Chisora starts landing.
Hammers got Covid so Dave Allen now needs a last minute opponent.
Piss take it's PPV and a non title fight when you consider Dubois v Joyce isn't.

Undercard Highlights
On the undercard, Welshman Lee Selby (28-2, 9KOs) is aiming to challenge for another world title but first must get past undefeated Australian George Kambosos Jr (18-0, 10KOs) in a 12-round IBF World lightweight title final eliminator.
33-year-old ‘Lightning’ Lee was the IBF World featherweight champion between July 2017 to May 2018. It was clear that the featherweight could no longer make the 126lbs limit after defeat to Josh Warrington, and moved up to win the IBF Inter-Continental lightweight title in his first fight back against American Omar Douglas (20-3, 14KOs). He then decisioned triple champion Ricky Burns in his last fight in October 2019 to reach no.4 in the IBF World rankings. His 31st opponent is just above him in third place.
The ‘Ferocious’ Australian is 27-years-old and currently unbeaten in 18 bouts. He won the New South Wales title in his third fight, the Australian national belt in his sixth, and has also collected WBA and IBF regional honours during his seven-year pro career. In his last fight, he defeated former IBF World lightweight champion Mickey Bey (23-3-1, 11KOs) at Madison Square Garden in December last year.
His recent scalps, although not notable names other than Bey, have been impressive in numbers. Since his step up to win the Australian title, every opponent has been a winning fighter, with a combined record of 227-53-15. His moniker is well justified, he is ferocious and intimidating. His right uppercut that landed to knock down Mickey Bey was simply stunning and he very nearly stopped him in that last round.
Slickster Selby is also appropriately named, with his fast hands and fleet feet. Although known for skill over power, he has knocked out and stunned a few opponents cold with the one shot. His punch variety is very impressive, and his shots whipped into the body take the speed and spirit away from his ring rivals.

Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora - 31/10/20 - Sky Sports PPV
really looking forward to this. Want to know how good Usyk really is going to be at HW and Del boy is capable of giving anyone problems.
Will be a good test
Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora - 31/10/20 - Sky Sports PPV
I have been very high on Usyk for a long time. I’ve always basically thought he was a bigger version of Loma. I just hope he doesn’t fall into what happened to Loma and lose to the bigger man.
I think Usyk will win pretty easily though. Chisora isn’t great, but it is a decent test at HW. I’m definitely interested.

Usyk is a great technical boxer l enjoy watching his fights but PPV it's a joke Hearn is take the piss once again I will be watching but not paying.!
Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora - 31/10/20 - Sky Sports PPV
Usyk should provide a good stoppage win here. Chisora has been done for a while.
Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora - 31/10/20 - Sky Sports PPV
I wouldn't say Chisora is done. He's got some pretty decent form over the last couple of years. That said I don't think that form matters much here. Completely different kettle of fish smashing a by comparison stationary Takam and Szpilka.
I'm liking the Indian summer Chisora is having but it ends here. I cant see anything other than Chisora chasing shadows and Usyk slowly breaking him down for a late stoppage or comprehensive points win. Would be great if he could drag Usyk into a fight though.

I am sure Chisora is very getting well paid for these ppv fights, shame some of that is going to David Haye.
Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora - 31/10/20 - Sky Sports PPV
£4 million guarantee for Del Boy, £1.5 million for Uysk. Yeah he's getting well paid.

Really? That’s insane that Chisora is getting paid that much.

Not bad for a gatekeeper.
Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs Derek Chisora - 31/10/20 - Sky Sports PPV
That's the figures being talked about so the fight would have to do a minimum of 300k PPV buys just to break even.
Hearns last 4 PPV shows have done shit figures (Whyte v Povetkin 220k) so those stories of Chisora being gauranteed 4 miilion fighting an unknown (to the casuals) is utter internet bullshit basically.
No way in a million years Hearn would gamble on losing money.
Covid and the arrival of PPV Football will kill PPV boxing as millions more turn to IPTV illegal streams.
Dave Allen next opponent is an unbeaten American KO artist with 19 knockouts from 19 wins

Fuck me, I’m sure your source is good, they usually are. But I don’t believe for one minute he’s getting that AND Usyk is getting less than half of what he is.
Doesn’t seem 5 minutes ago, Haye was offering him “mega money” to fight Joe Joyce. About £80k if I remember right.
