It seems round 5 has taken a lot out of Serrano too as she has slowed down and Katie is doing better.
Serrano is the stronger and better fighter so far.

Taylor is actually pretty good, way better boxer than serrano i think, she's pretty quick and accurate serrano might be a bit tougher though... The lack of stamina is pretty bad for a big fight though....no idea who won that, I'll guess a draw unless five was a 10-8
Katie outboxed Serrano in round 9.
What a fucking war credit to both at end there. Have Serrano 7-3 6-4 territory, Taylor finished 10th very strong.
These NEED to be 3 minutes and an undisputed unification NEEDS to be 12 rounds. You're either all in or you're all out.
Bullshit decision.
That's all I have to say.
Thanks.
Good fight I love it when both fighters give it everything!
96- 94 Serrano
97-93 Taylor
96-93 Taylor
split decision win for Taylor.
Two wanker promoters never hated them so much.
Serrano is a credit to her gender.
Serrano is biting her tongue because she knows it wasn't close but she's also delighted that the fight went the way it did so that they can do it again in Dublin. Anybody know what the purses were for this fight? I'm sure Serrano made more for this fight than she has so far in her career and she'll make enough from the rematch to make herself comfortable to some extent. Her next fight after the rematch if it's back in her normal weightclass will probably earn her about ten percent of what she made tonight/makes in Dublin.
That’s 2 absolutely BS decisions for Taylor now. Her being on top of the P4P rankings is a joke. Not just because of this, because she never should have been. Good fighter but not the best and it’s obvious

OK maybe I'm a little out here. I had no idea Serrano had actually made money in the sport. Most likely Taylor makes $1.5 million and Serrano about half a million. Another big payday in Dublin for both of them coming.
Serrano was the smaller the fighter coming up in weight yet she was the stronger fighter.
3 minutes will sort the women from the girls next time.
Respect to Taylor, who showed heart and good boxing skills. But I can see why she turned down Amanda's offer to fight 3-minute rounds. She would've lost by KO.
I know I'm biased, but even some of the commentators knew the decision went the wrong way.
And no... I don't agree Taylor's that much more "a better boxer" than Amanda. That's B.S. Amanda had her out TWICE in the mid-rounds, and unfortunately took her foot off the gas.
Can't leave decisions up to inept judges.
I thought Taylor nicked it. Serrano may've had a huge round, but it only cores 10-9. I think the 1st 3 rounds were hard to score and would be the difference on lots of cards, I gave Taylor all 3 of the 1st 3, although very close. A draw or 96-94 either way would all have been justifiable.
